Where does it call for the LS additive? It's only needed for LS units that uses clutch packs. If you have a locker, you don't need it. Rubicons have front and rear lockers.

Should not, you have a locker in the rear and an open diff up front, so no. Just use a solid synthetic and you're good.

Nice install man! What's involved with the wiring relocation? I just picked up the winch and much prefer to keep it clean if possible. Just carve out a new hole for the wires on the side? Do you have an pics of that by chance?

Quick update on my lift since there was some interest. I didn't take measurements all around yet, or pics for that matter. I'm giving it time to settle a little, but wow. If you didn't want too much lift, don't go this route (AEV 2.5" RT). I love it and think it rides great, but holy jacked batman.

I have the AEV kit I'm installing this weekend. I don't think my wife has any idea what's coming...lol. Good thing she doesn't ride in my rig too much on the daily.

You my friend are a genius. Thank you for stating this like you did. I read that flyer in the paperwork originally but never read it like that and always felt like you could just use the learn button for rolling codes. I followed it as such, using a current remote, then hit the learn. Bingo...

yes, the main learn button on the unit. I think I might have to move a little closer, but I've nosed in pretty good and shouldn't be too far away.

Anyone experience issues trying to link the garage door opener to your unit? I have a fairly new Chamberlain with Wi-Fi and rolling codes. I hit the learn button and have tried connecting numerous times now to no avail. Feel like I had an issue with the wife’s JLU but did get it to work. Now...
