no. when i tried to "charge" it i first ran the multi meter to test everything found and removed the dead negative on the main and tried to start via the "delete". then (since N2 was blown and had been blown for some time) I read one neg w 22v without the one neg attached. I think somehow...
thanks for all the feedback. now that ive had time to think I know my N2 fuse blew out on its own during regular driving. I believe this happened 6mos earlier as well when the exact same thing happened during regular driving i just didnt know better back then to check the old fuse....the...
you were right,it went off. now my axel locker light started flashing
so in summary i believe somehow my n2 fuse blew while driving for some reason and over time my aux was doing all the work and i never noticed. it stupidly will work like that until the aux cant be recharged anymore...
update, first the assholes made me wait 5 hours for a courtesy ride to the dealership didnt get the car until 430 when it was ready at 930am....asked to see the old fuse and it was n2 not n7 blown which threw me and the rest of us off. That fuse somehow blew before i ever jumped it which is...
thanks for the reply....it still at jeep im guessing alot because i dont have it to troubleshoot. they say its all good and ready for pick up and that all wires are correct etc etc etc. this is the third exact repair....They said n7 was blown so it should have still started when i tried the...
i tested the negative lead from only one battery on the post (not sure anymore which lead was connected). w one lead and the positive lead on the main it read 22v i triple checked and it held that voltage. when i disconnected and put the other lead it read 12v but the car wouldnt start or...
yes they said it was 7 and the alternator. they blamed and charged me for blowing it when i didnt blow it, the car was lighting up on the dash until they took it in. the dealer is replacing the batteries each time but i think it might be the pcr now....thoughts?
just watched a video from A GUY who has my problem where the aux delete doest work his pcr relay was corroded and not making contact on a post....would this make the jeep show 24v as well or is mine installed backwards at the pcr?
i tried the delete but w out the aux neg hooked up to the main the car was dead. hooked the aux back on and took off the other lead=dead. both wires were needed to start it
this is what i theorized, i think a cable end is mismarked which is why each dealer repair has ended up the same.... 6mos and then a dead battery. So putting in the aux backwords wouldnt automatically blow the system?
the dealer just told me the fuse is blown at n7 and is charging me even...
all i know is the battery reads 22v tested it multiple times w the aux lead on the main. also my small black wire is connected to the car not the aux and the aux delete doesnt work at all the car is completely dead when i try that.
