hello just a couple of questions. is it made in America? they refer to TX but not manufacturing there. what gauge/thickness is the steel? paint or powder coat? does it have bearings or bushings in the swing post? how does the single center lug nut lock to prevent theft? or becoming...
yes they are Maxxis AT 40x13.50x20 and i enjoy their on and off road manners. they are my second set. i put 40k on the first. the lowest price for these hides is at walmart.com! who would have guessed.
when i did the build i installed jeep's heavy hitch. it is compatible with the new bumper.
half a billion years ago when i was into drag racing, the mindset was "there is no replacement for cubic inch displacement"! 2" of height gain 36" to 40" is of the same mindset and it yields immediate results. if you can find full under body skid plates for your long arm system, you would be...
you have probably expended more energy in worry and typing your post than what you will do on the trail. we did it twice 5 years ago, spring and fall, and it was not wet on those days. we spent 3-4 hours there on each visit. the hardest part of the rides was resigning myself to the fact that i...
first and foremost, thank you for choosing a career in the military. i can only imagine that as an officer and aviator the endless logic/flowchart decision making processes firing off in your head must be tiresome, however, very life saving. as a long time observer of your work, may i be as so...
i see a non-driving grandma and grandpa in MI gave their prized rusty Mercury to the young grandchild (currently at the wheel). the young driver opted to "live their best life ever" by decorating the bejesus out of said Mercury. just a different generation. 23skidoo.
i gave my gladiator a lot of wood today. although no one asked how much wood can one stuff into a gladiator, i'll provide an answer. 6-1x6x16, 6-1x4x16, 4-1x4x12 and 7- 7" shiplap x12'. there may have been a little room for some pieces of shoe molding, but not much.
my rims are 20x10 -24. i have 10" of sidewall flex. using the 17" you would have more at 11.5" sidewall. i find the 17"/40" combo looked cartoonish. again, only my opinion. my first set of tires came from prioritytire.com as they were the cheapest. today they are $587 a pop. my second of 4 set...
when i responded to your initial post i was going to ask if you were providing popcorn for the ensuing show. my 2021 rubicon has 54,200 miles on the build with a total 58,500 on the vehicle. yes, both axles are box stock except for the Dana-Spicer 4.88 gears. by build i mean 40x13.50x20 tires...
i found the georgia jeep alliance by asking this same question . great group of folks. i run with the west chapter as they do a monthly ride. i found it to be worth paying the $100/yr membership as we've been on numerous out of state badge runs. they are on FB.
