I want to try this but the one I have a bead on, doesn’t come with the mounting hardware, anyone know if the mounting hardware on my stock plastic sport bumper will work to mount the rubicon steel? Google search is yielding inconsistent answers
where do they list stiffer springs for MT? I’ve suspected different springs because of pictures of max tow glads vs non-max tow, and how much the “non-max tows” sag, when hooked to a trailer
I've searched the forum and can't seem to find a similar question, apologies if this is too close to an existing post(I'm happy to view the post if one exists already)I initially got my gladiator because I've wanted a jeep since college(20ish years), and at this point in my life, I need a truck...
Just got my gladiator 3 weeks ago, I’m realizing that the “Just Empty Every Pocket” joke is more tied to all the upgrades you’ll want to buy after getting one
Got sprayed on Tuesday, very satisfied. They plugged all the threaded holes as I requested, for trail rail install. Covered lights and removed and separately sprayed the tailgate panels. $625 otd in IL.
this looks pretty nice. Thanks for posting as I have an appt to get spray in later this week and was debating it, based on looks. It looks like you also have the granite crystal metallic, which I think nicely minimizes the contrast between the liner and a lighter colored glady
This is especially frustrating, know the product you’re trying to sell me. I left a dealership where the guy didn’t know the simple 4.10AR to “max tow” relationship. That’s ok, I was just using them for a test drive anyways.
Thank you for the detail. I am sad now. I wanted to get bigger tires and red wheels to go with. Although I’m only pulling a 3,900# trailer, I refuse to give up capacity for aesthetics. I’ll likely still get the red wheels, but stick with current tire size.
There’s a lot of good info in these comments. Now I’m over here wondering if I want to go with bigger tires, if maybe that’s not a great idea. Reading through the article about the jeep engineer who talks about the challenges of reaching best in class towing on the gladiator. Part of the way...
I appreciate the replies, I’m aware of gvwr etc, been towing a few years, with a 5k capacity pathfinder and stepped up the to the max tow gladiator. Stickers and vin all say max tow, I’m sure it’s right, but I like to put eyes on hardware. I guess I’ll just have to trust it.
I just bought a max tow on a Sport, sticker lists standard equipment, and shows 3.73 axels, but in the optional equipment it states 4.10, max tow, heavy Dana 44 axels, my question is outside of the fender flare what can I look at on my truck to confirm beyond a shadow of a doubt that I have Max Tow?
