Another fun fact, in case anyone else in OZ is doing this, the front camera wash hose doesn’t quite reach the correct outlet on the pump, so I switched the hoses around, and therefore didn’t need to reverse the pins on the pump plug.
Works perfectly
Apparently there’s a lot more room in there on the Australian models.
I had my 2 way mounted in there, I removed that, and installed a mounting bracket I fabricated to take the CVPM, then rd installed the 2 way over it, so I can’t really get a photo without pulling it all apart.
Can definitely...
So, jimmy07 sent me a shorter harness, and the cvpm is neatly installed behind my glove box.
Everything is working perfectly, so I can confirm this works on Australian models.
Definitely ordered the correct CVPM for my year.
I would be surprised if the CVPM varied for countries as it does the same thing regardless, however it would be great if someone could confirm this?
Most likely a harness issue, as my crimping tool wasn’t ideal for the molex terminals, so I have...
You’re a legend!
The positive feed had pulled free of the pin terminal during install.
Rear camera working with an icon for front cam.
Front cam still not online.
I’ll triple check all programming selections tomorrow.
Yep, new camera installed, infotainment now running to cvpm, rear feed also running to cvpm, 5amp fuse showing volts on positive feed, and plugs all pushed in till click.
I made the harness as per jimmy07 pin specs.
I guess next step is to get jimmy07 to make me a harness in case I have made a...
So programming went smoothly, after about 4-5 hours the forward cam button appeared in apps, and off-road pages, but so far doesn’t open the cam.
Rear cam still blue screen.
I guess I’ll wait till tomorrow to see if it kicks in?
How long should I wait before troubleshooting?
Thanks
Thanks mate, the app connects perfectly, and I’ve saved the current log to Google drive.
Do I need to do each change individually, or can I make all of the changes at once,
Also how do you save once you make changes?
Going to hit this in the morning now, don’t want to add up what I’ve spent...
Hi mate, I’m not having any luck connecting with AlphaOBD.
I paired my computer to the OBDLinkMX+, but when I select it to connect it gives a failed connection message
Any chance you can help?
So I’ve managed to pair the OBDLink to the computer, I click connect and the device selection screen comes up, I select OBDLink+ 62184 and hit Ok, then it waits for a bit and comes up with an error message
Any ideas?
So, Im all installed and ready to program.
I have Alpha OBD running on parallels on my mac, The Gateway bypass from OBD Genie, the OBDLink MX+, however I can't get the App to find the vehicle.
I have it in ACC, I have restarted the computer and the OBDLink, it still comes up with the same...
One final stupid question, Im assuming that the pink un named outlet on the video unit is the one that gets connected to the entertainment unit, correct?
