Update:
I ordered the Genright ultra clearance bumper. It does require cutting off the frame “horns” “tusks” “skid mount” or whatever you want to call it. Instead of cutting on my brand new jeep frame, I notched out the bumper and it worked perfectly! Unfortunately, I didn’t care much for the...
The Mojave skid mounts to the frame horns and according to Genright instructions, frame horns get cut off. I'm wondering if maybe there's enough room to maybe notch the bottom of the bumper to accommodate the frame horns so I can still use my skid. I'm not interested in gaining more ground...
Regarding the Genright Ultra Clearance bumper; would it be possible to modify the bumper rather than cutting off the frame horns? I like my factory Mojave skid plate and would like to keep it. I saw a photo and I'm pretty sure its the ultra clearance bumper and they're using the oem skid but I'm...
The Rivian is super cool and all, but it’s like the Honda Ridgeline and the Ford Maverick, it’ll do a little of everything ok-ish but isn’t great at any of it. I’d love to have one for the road, but I’d keep my Gladiator for the off-road stuff.
The camera I bought was a $90 HD backup camera. It did require the tazer but I already had it for correcting speedo. I used the running lights for camera power and ran a length of cable from the back to the hitch. Used a weather proof connector and ran the rest of the cable through the frame of...
I bought a cheap camera from my local audio/video store, mounted it on the back and tied it into my factory screen. You’ll need to tie it into a specific set of pins on the back of the radio. I can’t remember where I got the adapter now but a quick search should find it. Worked like a champ!
Will someone please explain why this is beneficial? Keeping sensitive electronics on an isolated circuit during starts seems like a good thing to me. Thanks
I switched from USAA to Progressive last year and saved almost $100/ month on both my vehicles and travel trailer. It was insane how much cheaper they were for better coverage!
Makes sense, I guess I was more worried it was an issue with the product and it was removed or something. I’ll just keep a lookout for it. Thanks for the info!
