Since signing up last year Ive actually gotten pretty good, gained Alot of experience, fitted my gladiator appropriately and started a company I named OffRoad Recovery Assistance. No regrets
I'm in S. Louisiana. Went out into the woods and spent the day in pure solitude. It was beautiful. I even found a abandoned boat launch that appeared to not have been used or even seen in years. I took some videos to show that there were no trails where I was at. I was literally having to mow...
If you're scared to hurt it, don't get it. I bought my JT Mojave on a Friday. Saturday morning, I woke up, ordered my tires, bed cover, and a few other things online, then proceeded to out into the woods, rubbed the truck against a tree, put it in a 3ft deep mudhole rooster-tailing mud off all 4...
Finally got around to installing a set of steel fenders..... Really liking this look. To me, it makes the truck look like it might have a set of balls.
Youre' hooked! lol... It becomes an addiction. I hear flak all the time, cause 4/5 years ago I would tell people that you couldn't pay me to put a Chrysler vehicle in my driveway. Now as of about 2 years ago, I can't imagine driving anything but a Jeep. I've gotten into the whole Offroad...
I'm a Automotive Technician (VW group. I E. Audi, Volkswagen, Bentley, Porsche, Lamborghini) by trade. My tool bill is more than my house note, and tools are equal to my house in value. My wife knows if she touches my sh*t, there is a bullet headed her way.
22 Mojave. Rusty's Off-Road 2" spacer lift, Teraflex Shock Extensions front and rear, Core4x4 Track bars front and Rear, Core4x4 Front lower Control arms, Fox Steering Damper, Mickey Thompson Baja Boss M/T 35x12.50r17. Rides like stock. 10.5" of clearance from lowest part of differential to the...
Installed the new 35"x12.5r17 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss M/T's I've had sitting in the garage for a month yesterday at work. Then drove the truck through the ditch in front of my house. lol....
I use a Warn EVO10 that came with wire rope. I swapped it over to Tactical Recovery Equipment 20k lb HDWPE synthetic. I use my winch along with snatch-blocks, and other accessories several times a week. Never had a failure or doubt in my mind about a recovery.
Even in stock form, that Gladiator will do ALOT MORE than you likely realize. Just be cautious and don't get mad if you have to use the winch. Its part of the game.
No pics, but back of passenger side has a Streamlight flashlight in a MOLLE Pouch, and another pouch with a spare Mag for my G26. Driver seat just has a tanto style Spyderco fighting knife in the net pouch.
