I had the P026d and a few others with similar symptoms while doing the Wyoming BDR last year.
turned out that some chipmunks made a nest under my air filter.
cleaned it out, reset with J-Scan, and all was good once more.
Just to follow up with the results on this. They replaced the manifold, which included the swirl valves and MAP. Nothing else was "bad", so nothing else was replaced.
But, it's running good now with no leaks. Fairly easy swap it appears - just a few shop hours to get it done.
Thanks for...
Dang - I was just in Reno 3 weeks ago. I guess my timing was off once more.
I ended up going to Enumclaw Jeep (closest dealer to me). They were fantastic!. Walked in without an appointment. They had it diagnosed in a few hours. Risa was great to work with.
Turns out that it was the...
This is a re-post from the Wrangler forum, but I think there are more diesels in Gladiators than Wranglers, so I thought I'd repeat my request here. Hope ya don't mind.
I have a 2022 diesel JLUR with 91,000 miles. I'm throwing a few codes that could be a clogged manifold or swirl valves. My...
I think you're right - I forgot about your rocker switch.
Unless you want to run each set on a separate aux switch - then you could have one, the other, or both on any any time you chose.
I kept "saving" my aux switches for "something else" that might be needed. I ended up using only one...
Yes - that’s the one. Technically to the left of the brake booster (when in the driver’s seat). It’s a bitty to get out , and tough to get back in. I used needle nose pliers and reefed it out, then greased it up with silicone to get it back in. Drilled a couple hole in it while out to...
Time for a Spring time bump.
These beauties are still available - still sealed in their boxes.
I ended up tracking down 5 Gladiator spare wheels, painted them Stingray, and mounted them up .
Not quite as nice (or light) as these Fifteen52s, but close enough for my tastes.
Holler if you'd...
Another Friday bump. Open to offers, but still looking for 2 more steel Gladiator 20 hole spare rims. Let me know if you're selling. Thanks and have a great weekend.
Yeah - they can custom make the backspace but the number I heard was something like $1500 each - out of my league.
I like those Tactik wheels - I'd powder coat them too. Was the quality okay with them? I am a bit gun-shy on buying another set of wheels without putting my physical touch on them.
Too much poke for this bloke.
I never really cared for the Rubicon flower/snowflake look. And I guess I didn't understand the "backspace" as well as I thought did until they arrived. Once I tried one on it was obvious going to stick out too far.
I really love the wheels - I'm going for a...
I forgot to mention - I'm looking for either some XR wheels or Gladiator Spare steel rims to replace these. If you have a set of them maybe we could work a trade.
Thanks
Just a thought - could it be your trailer wiring? Trailers often sit for long periods and don't get regular maintenance. If there is a bare wire in the frame or somewhere on the trailer itself, maybe it just shows itself on random up hill climbs. Could this throw the code to the truck...
Long time lurker here but real member of the JL forum - always found a lot of great crossover info here for use on my own JL. Anyway....
I bought these brand new Fifteen52 Analog HD for my Wrangler.
I paid $325 each ($1625 for the set), not counting shipping, tax, etc. I'll let 'em go for...
