No, I didn't get an answer, but I figured it out. I had to remove the skid plate but it fit back on with about a 1/2 inch to spare. No problem at all. The other comment about the bumper mounts being different was just me being an idiot. The instructions were spot on. I got it installed without...
Are those 35s? I am trying to decide between the AEV and Terraflex. I doubt I'll ever go beyond 35s. I'm planning to keep the factory rims with the 315/70R17s.
Yes, you are correct. M18 2850-20. Does that rating not translate to being able to break loose something that is supposed to be torqued to 190?
I'm pretty fit, but I'm not be biggest fella (5'4", 145). I don't know that I'd be able to generate enough force to get it torque down unless I can...
Well, I bailed on this. I couldn't even get one of the bolts loose with my impact wrench. So out of curiosity, I set my torque wrench to 190 to see if I could get a click, no dice. I looked up the specs on my impact wrench and it supposed to be able to break 300 ft/lbs. So, I'm just really...
I'm not convinced yet that I need it. I installed a heavy front bumper and the measurement from the tire to the fender is a half inch more in the front than the back. If that's the litmus test for leveling, then I've got the Carolina Squat going on, not raked to the front. :D
Yes, you are correct. We came in from Art Lilly, took the Lakeview trail, which wasn't too bad. My memory is fuzzy, but I don't recall that being too challenging, but certainly not something a Civic could handle. We then crossed over Wolf Den, but I see where Dutch John goes off to the right, we...
You are correct. We did some research, read some maps and thought we had a plan. It was confusing once we got in there so I asked this group in the trailhead parking lot. We were next to the Lakeview Trail (I think that's right, it was a new one). He said that it was an easy trail that you can...
Went to Uwharrie for the first (and last) time. That was just not my jam. It was really difficult to figure out which trail was which and we ended up on some moderate trails and I scrapped the shit out of my rock sliders (they did their job) but didn't damage anything else except for my poor 9...
I installed the Quadretec Stubby Carnivore Front Bumper with some powder coated orange tow hooks to keep the Mojave color scheme intact.
I also installed the ARB Twin using the Grimm Offroad mounting bracket. Altogether, about 6 hours of work.
Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but this is exactly my use case. I have a 2023 Mojave and I just bought the Carnivore Stubby. Right out of the gate, the instructions don't match up. They make no mention of the skid plate. I assume that this has to come off to do the install and then gets...
That looks dope as shit! (do the kids still say "dope"?)
I wish that tint was legal here in NC. I had to replace the front window tint on my Tesla to pass inspection. Dumb.
Hi. I'm looking to install a leveling kit on my Gladiator Mojave. I'm handy and good with tools, but I don't have the setup for working on the truck. I don't have a jack or jack stands and I'm sure there are some other tools I'd be missing.
In exchange for some garage time, I offer up gourmet...
