I am pretty sure that is your only option.
The wheel lug openings are fairly small and a hex lug nut will not work.
ETA I see in the link posted above they make a hex drive nut that is smaller so perhaps that will work.
Ok I have to think about this. It's been about 5 years now.
1. Tape two boards of the same size as shown in the photo. I used walnut and hard maple. Make sure they are the same dimensions.
2. CA glue them together using glue ONLY on the blue tape, so that you can separate the two planks...
I won't clog the thread with a billion woodworking posts but since we got started on it, the drunk checkerboard block was probably one of my more favorite things to make. I made and sold about half a dozen of them.
I had a full wood shop in my spare garage for a couple years, so I can appreciate this kind of work. Good job.
Walnut is my favorite but I also like Purple Heart.

They're strong enough to ride up and over a rock, I've done it. But I don't think they'd take a ton of abuse. For typical overlander use, they're fine.
This is something I am mulling over too as I will probably get a fridge over the winter.
Are the good (Iceco, ARB, Dometic) fridges at least water resistant? They all have exposed control/display panels. I assume they are at least sealed against rain etc.... I don't want to submerse one in...
I have a KB Voodoo load bar setup with 1.5" risers.
All I have to do is pull 8 bolts and me and one other person can lift the tent and load bars off, leaving the rails and uprights in place. Tent gets leaned against my garage wall.
Doesn't weigh a lot. Definitely under 200 pounds for the...
I fly airplanes sometimes.
I was the proud owner of this for a few years.
Countless other interests and hobbies over the last 25 years. I could go on forever, but won't;)
Sorry about your loss.
I had to put my first dog down in 2017. She was 17 and I had her from about 1 year old on. She had the typical symptoms of old age, but then the occasional seizures started. After the 3rd one in a couple weeks... off to the vet. And while the vet didn't say they were...
Excessive zinc also causes sludge.
There’s a movement to zinc free AW packages in larger hydraulic systems for that very reason.
Not saying it’s going to happen to you, or that you don’t benefit from a higher zinc content.. just something to think about.
People definitely should not be adding...
