I havenāt tried this on the Jeep yet but back when I had my F-250, the seals werenāt great. The seal strip that went around the door frame is hollow. I went and got some rubber tubing at the local hardware store and with a little elbow grease, I fed it through the center of the seal. I removed...
Iām in the same boat. Have the 37ā Patagoniaās right now with stock gearing. Still get 23 mpg (diesel). I havenāt had any issues. Even did the Rubicon with this set up. But I also have that itch to go to 38ās but not sure if the juice itās worth the squeeze.
If I remember correctly, it took about an hour. It's basically a wiring harness that plugs into your start button. Part of that harness goes through your dash to the wiring harness behind your glove box. I remember the instructions being pretty easy to follow.
I got the MPC kit as well. I installed it myself on my gladiator. It's a pretty simple install. They even have an app to where you can lock/unlock, remote start and GPS location for your vehicle.
No, it wasnāt bad. I did it fairly soon after I bought mine brand new. Just had to get past the nerves of cutting into the mounts on a brand new seat.
Iām 6ā3ā and got the seat slammer. I got more head room and leg room. I donāt feel like Iām constantly going to slide forward in my seat anymore. I didnāt notice any difference for the rear seat room. Mine is a ā22 without power seats.
I should have asked that question but didn't. What makes me think that it is true is if I drive my jeep every day (constantly recharging my battery) I don't notice it. If my jeep sits for several days, it will most likely happen.
You could do what I did. Take the top control box off the winch. It fits perfectly on top of my fuse box under the hood (diesel JTR). You just just need longer cables for it to run down to the winch. Then I made an aluminum plate to fit on top of the winch with the holes lining up with where...
I contacted Tazer about these issues. I have a 2022 JTRD and had features seem like they were turning themselves off after a while. They said that if the truck sits for a while and the battery drops below a certain voltage, it can cause some of the features to reset. I also asked about winch...
Iām 6ā3ā and got the seat slammers. I was also nervous about cutting into the frame of my new jeep but did it anyways. It made a big difference for me. Very happy I did it. Got more head room and the slight tilt back in the seat made it a lot more comfortable.
Did you ever get a fix for this? Mine do the same. No indicators on the dash but the turn signals flash as if I have the hazards on. I have the taser and set it to LED and it didn't work. Got the turn signal out warning. I put the resistors in and don't get the warning anymore but they...
