  1. Which do you prefer? Cloth or leather?

I live in Phoenix and my black leather seats were very hot. I found someone (also a diesel rubicon) with brown leather seats to swap with. The brown leather is very comfortable all year round. If heat isn’t an issue, any color leather will be great for the reasons others have already stated.
  2. 50,000 - 500,000 Mile Club (EcoDiesel only)

Maybe they finally have the parts. Thanks for the heads up!
  3. 50,000 - 500,000 Mile Club (EcoDiesel only)

50,490 miles JTRD. Still on original HPFP. Also on “waiting list” for new one. Seen some folks on here have issues with the new pump leaks at the mating surfaces, hopefully not an issues for most. Use cetane booster and lubricity additive every fill up. Occasionally pull our 5,000 lbs popup, so...
  4. Clayton Overland Plus vs Metalcloak Gamechanger - with towing

I purchased and installed Metalcloak’s 3.5” Game Changer in October 2024. I contacted their tech support 4 times during the install and they were extremely helpful and available. They even overnight mailed me new shocks since the incorrect rears were sent. Really can’t praise the quality of...
  5. Post your JT lifts!

Metalcloak 3.5” Game Changer. Just put on the steering unit as well. A few picks with 37” BFG KO2.
  6. Diesel cooling options and ideas

Had I not already created a mounting and venting solution for mine, I would already sent you the money for this setup. It looks amazing! Thanks for the info on the cooler. I will probably swap out to the bigger cooler in the spring time to be ready for the next round of Phoenix heat.

Is your new radiator taller and wider than the old one? Or same width just taller?
  8. Got a '24 Mojave!!!!

Yes, there is some obstruction if there is a drink in the holder; the taller the drink the more the obstruction. Only really an issue for me if we are also towing our popup camper. I live in Phoenix, we always have the two cup holders by the shifter filled occupied by our water bottles. The cup...
  9. Got a '24 Mojave!!!!

Definitely agree with the cup holders. Got one for the driver and passenger. Makes road trips and trails even better.
  10. Diesel cooling options and ideas

It is 1/4” aluminum, second hand off of FB marketplace. I added stainless steel reinforcements to the winch area, sandwiching the bumper. I am also not going to live in fear of warranty voiding. Just sharing info, not trying to convince anyone of anything. Sorry to hear your diesel experience...
  11. Diesel cooling options and ideas

When I installed the Bullet Proof Diesel Aux cooler, I still had the stock plastic bumper. I have been wanting to add a winch, but needed a new bumper for installation. However many new bumpers either have the winch mounted inside the bumper, or have braces to support a winch; both of these...
  12. Diesel cooling options and ideas

In May we travelled from Phoenix to Painted Rock campground near Gila Bend taking mostly side roads with a 10 mile stretch on the highway. Only a 500 foot difference in elevation. The freeway section was flat, temp was 91 degrees traveling at 55 mph, oil temps around 240 - 247 degrees. Side road...
  13. Diesel cooling options and ideas

This is my first post. Thank you all for posting so much information on this overheating challenge. I live in Phoenix AZ. Purchased a used 2021 Gladiator Rubicon late August 2023. Tow an overland pop-up trailer (MDC Robson), about 5,000 lbs. Only significant changes are 37” tires, and because of...
