Same thing happened to me about a week ago. After several days with no remote start, it just wouldn't start at all. Took it into the dealership and they tested and replaced both batteries. 2023 with 16K miles; not even a year and a half old...
I just bought some Teraflex shock extenders for the front. After the 1.5" level kit was installed. I can hear / feel the front shocks maxing out at full extension at a certain point on my drive home everyday. Prior to the level kit install, it was never an issue. Hopefully the shock extender...
No real build plans per se at the moment. Teraflex 1.5" level kit had been sitting in the garage since last Christmas and I just wanted to have a little more aggressive stance TBH. Haven't had the Gladiator for barely a year, but tired of looking like a boy amongst men out in the work parking...
Costco had the best price, they don't charge for install, AND I get an additional 4% off with my Costco CC. I agree with you though on anything past tires. Certainly not going to ask them to install a lift. They put new tires on vehicles all day though; shouldn't have been an issue...
Discount tire shows the spec for the FirestoneDestination M/T 235 X12.50R17 LT 121Q E2 BSW to have a rim width range of 7.5" - 11.5". I called them to confirm before purchase because I was seeing mixed info online. Even so, I still wasn't 100% comfortable with it. Need to just get some new...
The tire spec shows the minimum rim width to be 7.5". There wasn't a spec issue. It may have not looked as it good as it would with a wider rim. Their concern (and mine too) is the rubbing / loss of turn radius due to the tire width. I didn't want to haggle and honestly it was a bit of a...
Seems logical. Didn't think about that TBH. Factory tire is 10.04" wide; the Firestone's are 12.5". So it should only add an 1" to the inside. I did stick my hand inside the rear factory tire. There's not much room in between factory tire and fender well.
They were real nice about it. He just didn't want to fool with them I think. Looking for an excuse.
I had called Discount to confirm the 12.5 would be ok on the 7.5 wheel. Did not realize they price match. They are closer to me anyways. Might check them out. Thanks!
I purchased a set of Firestone 35x12.5 from Costco while they were on sale. Initially I was concerned about the tires fitting on the 17x7.5 factory Willy's wheel. 7.5 is the minimum width for a wheel with 12.5 tire per the spec. I did a little research and figured I would be ok; if I didn't...
What mfr are these lights? I was just looking at a set from Quadratec. Certainly agree with you about the duck. I'm not a regular participant in the duck activities, but I would definitely hold on to that one.
I am going to have to pass on it for now unfortunately. It is a really good deal though. My JT is only a couple of months old. I am going to try and knock out some of the smaller, less expensive items on my list first. If it's still available in a few months when I start suspension...
