  1. Def shows 100%, after a month of driving..

When I got mine, I thought it was low and the dealer topped it off, but I was just reading the gauge wrong. I don't pay close attention to the level, but whenever I do happen to check it every great once in a while (guessing, a thousand +/- mile intervals), it doesn't seem to move much.
  2. What do you recommend for aftermarket mud flaps?

I also got the weathertechs. I wanted a factory appearance. These work with the diesel exhaust, which I don't believe the mopar ones do. The front weathertechs fit nicely around oem rockrails. They offer decent protection for my 11" wide tires on oem wheels. Not 100%, but drastically better than...
  3. EcoDiesel UOA (Oil Analysis) Results Thread

My Jeep just hit 50,000 miles, and I finally got around to ordering my first report. I have been using the Mopar oil since the first 3 free oil changes. Seeing others' reports on here makes me want to try the Amsoil, but I have 2 more oil changes worth of Mopar oil sitting in the garage, so...
  4. Venturous Topper Installed

I have the Rhino Rack quick mount bases and vortex aero bars.
  5. Recommendations for door sill plates

I also have the rugged ridge ones because they protect the raised part of the sill that sees the most shoe contact. I step on it everyday getting out of the seat. I realize you don't want to interfere with the seal, but I preferred the total protection. I don't notice any seal issues from the...
  6. 34" Tires

I have Toyo Open Country AT3s 35x11.5R17, load range C, and I really like them. They measured 33 5/8" tall mounted with vehicle weight when new and are about 10 1/2 or 11" wide overall as I recall. The narrower profile does not rub anything using the stock wheels on the narrower Sport S axles...
  7. Project Wruck

It is the Venturous Ozark topper, I believe they are a division of Ranch. It's an injection molded fiberglass cap that is lighter and stronger than traditional fiberglass. Some members think it shares the same shape as one of the other popular manufactures.
  8. Project Wruck

Congratulations, great setup! Couldn't agree more, gladiators with a topper are a terrific family adventure vehicle. Myself, Mom and our 4 and 5 year old boys fit comfortably, and the dog crate stays in the back. I store the boys' fishing poles in it and the canoe fits great on the 3 roof bars...
  9. Canopy "Exo-Rack" for RTT, etc?

I have only seen the external racks that go around a cap, on full size trucks. ARE has an internal frame for one of their caps for heavier loading. I doubt you could buy that frame independent of the cap, but maybe a good template for a fab project. It would keep the outside looking cleaner too.
  10. Venturous Topper Installed

I think in the ownership instructions I read something about taking it easy and not washing it for a certain amount of time (a couple weeks or a month, can't remember) once it is installed, to allow the paint to fully cure. Seems like the paint is a little soft. Mine has a few pinstripe smudges...
  11. Archoil vs. Hot Shot's Secret

This is great to see actual testing between products. I've been using HSS EDT mostly for the availability in stores. Glad to see it at least provides some benefit, but I too will try the higher dosage on my last bottle, then try Archoil for a higher performing value option. As NMH_94 mentioned...
  12. Longer Bed -

I really like having a cap on my truck too. Between the cap and cab, there is so much real estate up there for carrying long items like lumber, etc. I got my cap with the Rhino Rack bars, but one of my favorite mods is the additional Rhino Rack bar on the hardtop. I needed a 59" bar (longer than...
  13. Anyone go with more narrow 35” tires?

Nice to see skinny 35s and stock wheels on a Sport, instead of a Sport Max Tow, Rubicon, or Mojave with wider axles. Mine is a Sport S narrow axle. I like the stock wheels and was hoping not to replace them or use wheel spacers. Everything clears (at least daily driving for now), and I really...
  14. Venturous Topper Installed

I was told 6 to 8 weeks. It took right at 8.
  15. Venturous Topper Installed

I just got mine installed! Fortunately the only dealer in my state (NH) was just an hour away. I really like the strength, functionality, and how well it matches the Jeep's body. I ordered it with the headliner, but they apparently forgot to install it. The dealer said I could get refunded for...
  16. Woolwax question: Anything to spray in engine compartment?

I used fluid film last year on mine. If I remember right about the engine bay, I think I just sprayed the top and inside of the frame rails, top side of the drivetrain, plus whatever hardware I could see without getting too close to electronics, engine accessories, or anything else that looked...
  17. New Garage/Shop

Looks like a cool project, congrats! This is a good minimum size in my opinion for a comfortable hobby Jeep/ DIY wrenching garage. I like the high ceiling, my garage (that came with the house) is 24'x24'x8' ceiling (no lift obviously) with a woodshop above. Yes it's a little tight, but enough...
  18. My 70k eco diesel bottoms out... Jeep "Sorry we can't do anything!?"

I've also bottomed out the front end in potholes with my diesel sport s. As another member said, the front bumpstops are about an inch longer on the diesels, I believe because the bottom of the oil pan is lower. I just picked up a 1 inch front diesel-specific spring spacer for $50, which...
