Its not that much of an exaggeration. I live in Utah, nothing but mountains all around. granted I'm on 35's with a 2 1/2" lift without regearing which doesn't help. My trailer only weights about 4500lbs fully loaded and towing it in the mountains sucks. Still wouldn't tow it with any other truck...
Can your truck handle it? Sure. Will you be disappointed? Yes! The first time you hit a tiny hill, you’re in 3rd gear going 35mph, your engine revving so high you think it’s either going catch fire or shoot though the hood, you’re getting 2 gallons to the mile, every semi-truck is flipping you...
Last night I was laying in bed and heard a horn honk that sounded like my Gladiator, but I looked out the window and and saw nothing. However, my low fuel warning turned on as I drove home from work yesterday and I was too lazy to stop. So, my remote start would not have worked. I Didn't think...
The Airbags I'm adding are for the rear (AirLift 60830). I'm still running my stock Rubicon suspension, I'll be adding a lift later this summer, but havent picked one yet.
its a night and day difference between when I have the WDH hooked up and when I remove it for the trail. I just need the Airbags to make it not sag so much for the trail. I have them on my Wrangler and they worked great. Looks like you have a nice setup, thanks for you input.
How does your setup do off road? I just bought a 2024 Geo Pro G19FD, which is about the same size, weight, and frame. I take my sway bars off when I hit a trail so I don't snap one and my back end sags like crazy as soon as I do. I almost tore off the belly mounted spare tire on what basically...
