I had a ā06 Ram 2500. No locking/ unlocking hubs, no FAD. No crawling out in a mud hole, no added mechanical complexity, no bullshit vacuum hubs. No problem! What does the FAD give you, a quarter horsepower and a quarter MPG? Many of us screw off more than that by adding oversized tires right...
Do you have to add coolant? You might have a seeping head gasket. Pull the plugs and run a borescope down the holes and look at the tops of the pistons. You can get a borescope from Amazon these days for cheap.
When I bought my Wolfpup 16FQ (~3000 -3500#) it came with an Equal-i - zer hitch. Once I figured out how to adjust it it brought my front end down an inch or two and itās all I needed. I got an ownerās manual e- mailed to me and then I figured out that you donāt grease the spring bars, turns out...
Drive it until does it full time. Thatās what they will tell you if you take it in. It could be the octane change, that can screw up your timing among other things.
Automated⦠thatās the word I was looking for.š
I had a new 1998 Dodge diesel, by the time I traded it off 8 years later I had 3 windshields in it. The 2006 Ram diesel 4x4 I traded it in on went through either 2 or 3, I canāt even remember now. I canāt see a Jeep being any worse. But, those were...

Or you turn the key and get a "pop" under the hood, then nothing. Or you hook up jumpers and get three or four quick pops out of the battery just before the top blows out of the battery. I blew one up in my face when I was 14, after that I can clear half the shop before it blows after any funny...
I was throwing a tantrum and whipping the knob back and forth when the person I was trying to hear spoke. I had it turned most of the way up, damn near shit myself when it started blasting! š
Yep. Took me a year or two to figure this out. Wait until whomever you are talking to is actually speaking then adjust the radio volume control at the same time.
Thanks! I saw your picture with the cables laying across the frame rails and heading towards the passenger side of the truck and thought you found an easier way to run them. I ended up running them back under the right rail and under the power steering pump and then up. I hear you on working...
