Started on the rear seat 40% delete. It's super sturdy, but need to fine-tune and then add sealant+carpet. Need to find a better socket solution so I can have that space for temp cargo like groceries, etc
I'll either press them out and replace with M14 size bushings or drill and sleeve the frame threads to reduce down to M12. Bushings probably make more sense, but we'll see!
Not having luck with search, but I'm sure it's been discussed before so please share links if you have them.
I bought a used Mojave a couple of years ago for a great deal and am not one who bought because of the suspension. At 60k miles I have DW after many offroading trips which is leading me...
Learned how to do Hell's Gate 😅 I'd share the video but the forum can't upload it.
Wish I was better about taking pictures though. Did Hell's Revenge, Steel Bender, Fins, Dome Plateau, Sevenmile, and Top of the World.
One of the most beautiful places in the country for sure
Hells Revenge for the first time yesterday.
My browser history now includes a Metalcloak 4.5" Game-Changer kit. I have to tell myself "next year" over and over lol
Back to Sand Hollow - did Sliplock Gulch, reached Top of the World, and hit the dunes. Spent 5-6 hours just riding.
Also recovered 2 Jeeps in the sand.
I came to the area last year, but first time in the OHV area today. Did Resurrection because I stumbled on it. Not a bad trail, but need to try out the dunes.
A few things checked off…
CB Antenna mounted
Starlink system installed (For in between destinations)
Front skid cut up to fit with the steel bumper
Z Locker installed and tested since my sensor went out
I paid $2,543.88 all together last month. 2 year manufacture warranty (Revolution) and lifetime labor. If you can't bring it back to them they'll work with a local shop in your area to have anything repaired/warrantied. Haven't seen a better warranty out there.
That's smart. I originally was going 5.13 with my gasser on 37s and ended up having them install 5.38 instead for this reason alone. I'm full time in the camper (4500lbs) and travel all over the country so while there's a small sacrifice while not towing, it's an even greater reward while...
I drove 500 miles in 3 days according to their procedure. Stayed at a local RV park for the week and took off work to get it done since I couldn't bring it back for the break-in inspection later on.
I was passing through the area to East Texas anyway so it's not like I traveled only for this...
Just had mine done last month at Exodus in San Antonio. Roughly $2,600 OTD. I traveled through there to get it done. Dropped off at 7am and drove away at about 4pm. If nothing else your parts quote is much higher than what I paid. Revolution though.
Installed the knockoff steel bumper at the campground. It's rained all weekend so I'll work on the skid plate later this week or next weekend. I'll 3D print some plugs for those sensor holes too. Minor trimming on the bumper. Glad to free up bed space after carrying the winch around for 2 months.
