My AUX battery did take out my main battery. I replaced the main, but replaced the AUX with a NOCO GENIUS-2D, 2A Direct-Mount Onboard Car Battery Charger. Placed the NOCO in the AUX box, and ran me a plug in socket thru the fender liner.

Well, if you place a magnet on the outside of the pan, how are you going to view any metal that sticks to it unless you remove the pan? The purpose of having the magnet on the plug, is so that you can observe any ferrous metal particles once you remove the plug (during an oil drain).
