The removable top I know was a deal breaker for lots of Jeep owners interested in the pickup so great decision to provide it. Wonder if it'll end up with all 3 engines that the JL is gettimg though since it'll be a lower volume seller than the JL.
From what I've read it'll be based on the JL. And disappointing or not depends on your expectations.
That'd be really surprising to see. They keep calling it a lifestyle type car so it's not meant to compete with Ram trucks as pure utility pickups. Doubt then that they'll offer it in multiple...
Wow great job!! These are stunning. Especially love the pickup version but I think it could use a larger bed. The vent behind the fenders is a nice touch too..
I hope so. Would be boring if the pickup was just a standard Wrangler with a flatbed attached. Since it has a different chassis code (JT) hopefully that means it can stand on its own in terms of styling and features?
Beast is an understatement man. 7.0L V8 Hemi stroker motor with forged internals, upgraded fuel system, 2.9L Whipple supercharger, paired to rebuilt/reinforced auto transmission and transfer case.
Agree with the other guys. I think most ppl would say the 4 door double cab version looks better! Compare:
Not really fair comparing modified one against a concept one from 2006 but it's clear which configuration look better :)
Would be smart of them to make it Wrangler based, the most popular and capable of the Jeep models.
Wrangler is also the only body-on-frame Jeep platform, which a lot of pickup guys care about.
