@DC3 thank you so much for the detailed update. I am sad to hear you experienced the code again. I do wonder if the PCM update in conjunction with the 0072 actuator is the ticket. Unfortunately that blows out any tunes to do the PCM update. I do feel like you are onto something here with the...
@biodiesel heads up, I think you may have the revisions wrong here and on the Ram forum. From my interpretation FWIW, DC3 swapped his revision 0050 actuator to 0072 and has not seen the issue thus far using the latest 0072 revision. Sounds like he originally ordered another 0050 as a spare...
@DC3 to be clear, just by replacing your actuator to the 0072 revision, the issue appears resolved? No PCM updates, just straight swap of the actuators? What about the actuator control arms that connect to the turbo vanes, any physical differences like length there? And the only way currently to...
This definitely isn’t tied to the P00AF code. Try yet another dealer. Good you have a consistent place to test for this code. This dealer sounds dumb, do you know for sure your turbo was actually replaced?
I’m reading several posts on the P00AF code which I got twice when visiting out West on a recent trip not pulling anything, just roof top tent under 65 mph. Some folks say a new turbo is in order because of something with the actuator.
Since this code only pops in very specific circumstances...
Good to know the turbo replacement did not resolve. Did you test right after replacement? I read somewhere that the VGT vanes in the turbo get caked up in soot if the engine isn’t ran hard and this is the cause of the malfunction. However if a replacement turbo didn’t resolve as long as it was...
Benny,
Appreciate the prompt response. I found the spring part numbers I have on my JTD are from an older kit even though the dealer I just purchased this rig from used installed it recently before I purchased. Bummer it wasn't the newer kit.

Do we know yet if the only real difference between the old 2" Mopar Fox kit and the new Bilstein kit are the shocks? I have the Fox kit and curious what parts I would need to properly change to the Bilsteins. Thanks
So if I already have the Mopar 2" lift with the Fox shocks, can I just switch to these Bilstein p/ns and add the remote reservoir brackets to be the same as this kit? Or do I need to buy an entire kit because something else is different as well? Has anyone compared p/ns between the two kits? Thanks
