so I dove the truck around for a minute, I think I found the sound. It’s a littler quieter, maybe because it warmed up, but it sounds like it’s coming from the exhaust.
My god I’m experiencing this same damn thing right now and it’s driving me nuts. Of course it’s impossible to ever get my truck looked at bc it takes them a week to diagnose something. It sounds like it’s coming from the rear
Well that’s reassuring. I’ll make sure they are on properly. I bought the hubcentric ones right off the Clayton site bc I figure they wouldn’t sell poor quality ones.
Ya I’m not sure either, I know the Clayton control arms have the curve in them like the factory ones. I just didn’t have a clue about the backspacing, my fault for not doing more research.
Welp I’m fucked then. God that’s frustrating. Wasn’t expecting to have to spend another couple grand on wheels. I really hate to use a wheel spacer like a bro dozer but I don’t know what choice I have
I didn’t see anything about the requirements on the diesel lift page. Then I saw some threads about rubbing issues, not sure if that’s JL specific or what. They were saying I needed a 4.5 backspace ?
So I just ordered a the complete Clayton overland plus 2.5 lift kit for my Diesel Rubi. I’m concerned now bc I’m running a Black Rhino Arsenal 17 x8 +30 offset with I believe is 5.68 backspacing. The tire is a nitto ridge grappler 35/ 12.5. I have no issues on the stock truck, is it not going...
I just got a low mileage Sarge green 2022 Rubi Diesel with nearly every option but the front camera for 44k. Truck is so amazing for that price ?, I had to pull the trigger.
