I have had mine for a couple of months now. It held up my hood with a load of frozen ice and snow on it.
It's hard to believe but I notice a lot more room available while working under the hood and not having to work around that post.

Jeeps are made in the US, so there is no import fees to pay. Warranty, Im not sure how that works. My Canadian warranty has been honored in the US on my Glad!
