I really like the Stinger systems, but the only thing that turns me off is that I've read the XM radio doesn't display album art. Can anyone here confirm that to be true or false?
I just today finished installing this sub, behind the seat on the driver side. I have the stock amplified unit and factory speakers and sub, and added the Kicker as an addition. With the top and doors off, I can't tell a difference going down the road. It's working, in the garage I can hear...
A couple months ago I updated by 2019 Ram with 12" screen using this method. I have a Tazer plugged in and it worked fine. My Gladi is a 2023 so I have no need to try with it.
Once I get my lift installed and can actually see the shocks, I'm going to have to resist the temptation to crawl under there with a bottle of quick detailer and some wax at wash time. :headbang:
LOL!! Well if you are a Canada diver, you have a thicker skin than me. I'll stick to the warm clear waters of the Caribbean. But keep blowing bubbles my friend!!
Here is the reply from Shock Surplus:
" Sorry to see you got mismatched shocks. Fox had a redesign on their shock labels happen recently and since the part numbers stayed the same, our warehouse wasn't able to differentiate the differences. If you have not already installed the shocks, we...
I did a closer inspection. Each shock has a wraparound label. On one side the Fox part reads top-to-bottom, flip it over and the Fox reads bottom to top. I assume that's so you can orient them either way.
GeneralMaximus, you could probably align yours by flipping two of them around. On...
I ordered a set of Fox 2.0 IFP shocks for my Gladi from Shock Surplus. They do a lot of informative videos (which I appreciate) and had pretty good prices. I received them in a few days. But when I was unboxing I noticed an issue. The shocks all have different labels. On the front shocks...
Wow...that's surprising news. Their whole thing about the Ride Right kits is that they are supposed to maintain ride quality on pavement. Did you perhaps have springs from one of their overland kits? Or are they all the same springs?
I'm considering the Clayton Off Road 1.5" Ride Right system. I'm driving a 23 Gladiator Willys. I am mostly a highway driver, so on-road comfort is more important than anything else. My town has brick streets in the downtown area. The stock springs and shocks with my 35" Nitto Recon...
I captured the pics from a random youtube video. This section of the video talks about the winch, but not the bumper. I've searched a few sites and don't see one like it. Just wondering if anyone knows the brand or anything about it.
As soon as I posted this, the forum showed "Similar threads" and one of them contained the video below. That helped me figure out that the section of the console that surrounds the gear shift and cup holders does just pop out, and I already knew the shift boot just pulled up out of the way, so...
I feel like I may be posting a redundant question. But I have read a lot of threads and watched a lot of videos and still haven’t found an answer yet. Does anyone know how to remove the silver trim around the gear shift, around the media and power window cluster, and the front of the radio. It...
