No kidding !
As I sit here In the middle of the night feeding my 6 week old son. My how things can change.
I’m about to hit 50k on my jeep. Still using ACC almost daily. I hope all is well!
I went to pick up a new trailer on Monday, about 300 miles one way. On the way up there I got around 27.5 mpg, average about 70mph. On the way back I was at about 13mpg. I felt like I spent more time at the fuel station than on the interstate. Do the gasoline versions have bigger gas tanks? I...
Does any company make retractable steps that tie into the factory harness? i.e. not having to put a magnet and sensor onto the door.
I assume its possible since my overhead light comes on when my door opens. I also assume its not possible because somebody more knowledgeable than me would have...
Hi all,
recently installed a Warn winch into my jtrd factory steel bumper. And it was miserable. I used the warn company winch mounting kit. And it almost felt like I was sent the wrong mounting kit. It fit, sort of.
7 hrs later, I got most everything bolted into place and I can’t get the back...
thanks for those links. Wish i would have got them when I grab the fair lead from you. Btw the kit doesn’t include the nuts needed just the bolts?
Do you have the part number/link for the nuts needed to install the fairlead bolts?
If I had to put on a spacer that moved the bumper out, how would the skid plate bolts line back up with the frame? Is there enough play?
it took me 6-7 hrs to install it the first time, when I get home I’ll grab a picture of the extra piece I have as well. Maybe somebody can tell me what it’s...
damn it. Must be user error. I was a one more foul word away from getting my grinder out.
I can’t even get all of the skid plate bolts in.
They just don’t align. Which has to be by design since it pushed the bumper outwards 1/4 inch?
I do not recommend the warn jeep winch plate. it was a real PIA, I've already thought about taking it off and buying the mopar one, if I didn't get it with that super sale they were having a couple weeks back I'd have sent it back.
Hell even the plastic trim tabs don't line up with the warn...
it might all be in my head, it feels like if I have the speed set closer to my current speed it will accelerate slower. Ie I had it set on *ahem* 70 on the interstate. Came to a big slow down. And when ever traffic started moving it took off hard. But when I lowered it down to 20 it was much...
You can turn it on under 20 and it will pace the car in front of you, if they’re going less than 20.
I saw no way to adjust the minimum speed it will keep lower than 20. Albeit I was not looking for that specifically.
Yes, need to change out the cruise control switch for a cruise control switch that has ACC. Requires removal of the steering wheel. Now would be a good time if you want to switch to a 392 wheel or install paddle shifters.
Hi everybody,
I've read on here, that the diesel really like to have fresh air. How much do you all believe one of these would negatively affect the jeep? My daughter thinks it would look really awesome on our orange jeep, and I agree with her. At least for the season. Thanks for any info...
Man. I’ve been trying to get the fourth orange one. I’ve ordered three from mopar and they have been incorrectly black three times!
I have shiny silver ones I’ll trade you for your orange ones?
Once you remove the vents, the covers Unclip and come off. I gave up, and ordered some punk’n spray...
I decided to test mine the other day. It does indeed work. I have to admit, I chickened out a split second before it engaged. When it engaged, it felt like antilock brakes, with the vibration/pulsing thru the brake paddle.
Stay safe out there!
During the DASM (acc) calibration one of the questions it asks if the vehicle height has been modified. It then instructs you to go measure the driver and passenger side height and input the measurement.
You can do it at home, need witech subscription and an obd adapter. Much more cost efficient...
