I also should have mentioned that once you hit the end of Parsons Branch Road at HWY 129 take a right turn. A little ways down get on Foothills Parkway and take it all the way to the end on Wears Valley Road. Then take a right and it will bring you right back into Townsend.

If you go to Cades Cove then you can exit via Parsons Road. It's a gravel road that dumps you out on Hwy 129 (The Dragon)

It looks like Trail 16 from Windrock has also been eliminated. I had heard they were going to cut back to only 2 trails per site. So , it's only Trail 51 and 26 now.

I was on Parson's Road in the Smoky's and it dumped me onto the Dragon at the end. Those rice burners didn't want any part of this. ;)
