Update I had these installed a few months now and averaging about 16mpg. I did get the tazer and updated the tire size and lost minimal pickup from the start.

Thanks for the advice! I actually did go up through the windshield like you suggested. I did use the rough country panel though. I got it for like 70$ brand new. It is a bit bulky but I don’t mind much.

There was l i agree there was little to no difference until I added a amp to them. Definitely hear an improvement. The problem is the oem radio only puts out like 5 watts per speaker. These upgraded speakers require more power inorder to hear a difference.
