Well, the reason it’s OK is because we live in a free society and they don’t seem to be breaking any laws or hurting people. Because you don’t agree with their logic doesn’t make it not OK. Who cares if some of them feel like they are “hot stuff” or judge others that choose not to attend...
I have been happy with 4.88’s. The 4.10’s it had stock were actually great daily driving and off-roading with 37’s but I went to 4.88 to help me a bit when pulling a travel trailer and gear. That’s where it really made some difference for me. I think it’s the sweet spot for my use.
I agree with others that already responded affirming this. You’ll be completely fine going to 4.88 now. I’m running them with 37 Nitto Recon Grapplers and sometimes I run them with 35 Mickey Thompson Baja Legends MTZ’s. No problems.
I had a min-pin that was a runt and she weighed 3 lbs. soaking wet. But she thought she was a real Doberman and acted like it. She was lucky she never got checked. Lol
I loved that dog. After she passed it took two dogs to fill the hole she left.
She’d sleep next to me and lay her arm...
So does Rogue think they are the alpha and does Alpha let Rogue think that?
I’ve seen so many times where the little dog acts like the big dawg and the real big dawg is graceful and allows it.
The reality here is this is just another example of misery loves company. OP didn’t come here looking for help - they came here to bash Jeep Gladiator and give it a middle finger on their way out the door. They didn’t have the fight in them to stick to Jeep so they wanted to come here to vent...
I have two Male chihuahuas and anytime it snows I lay out a tarp and just pull it back every time they need to go out, and then replace it after they are done. So much snow this weekend I had to shovel it off the tarp a few times because it was too heavy to just pull back. I feel for them -...
I have no problems towing that kind of weight with my Rubicon. And no concerns with traction on wet ramps. You’ll be solid. 👍. Saw this review on YouTube and others that were also positive.
Not sure why or what benefit the skyjacker 4.5 would have provided over 3.5 metalcloak. I will offer that I have run the metalcloak 3.5 for a couple years now and 20,000 plus miles. Had no issues and they perform great. I tow a travel trailer for camping, haul lots of weight in the back doing...
Let them assess your trade value. They should value you it accordingly. They ain’t losing any money on you. Don’t sweat it. Just be excited - Congrats on the new Jeep!
There is The Jeep Gladiator and then there is Not a Jeep Gladiator. It’d be hard for me to go to anything else.
One perspective could be 66,000 miles ain’t bad so trade it in for a new Jeep Gladiator. Then share the new one with us here and all the mods you do to it.

In the Jeep Gladiator's mobile app (Jeep Connect), the "Ventilation" feature, specifically "Active Cabin Ventilation", lets you remotely turn on the vehicle's fans to pre-condition the cabin by blowing air through the vents, helping to cool it down on hot days before...
Either way you’re gonna have an awesome Jeep. I encourage you to test drive both if you are able. Best way for you to know for yourself before pulling the trigger. I went with Rubicon because of the rocks and deep mud I deal with. The ride of Mojave felt better on pavement but not so much...
FWIW I’ve been pleased with 4.88’s and 37’s with my 3.5 inch metalcloak lift. I pull a travel trailer that weighs about 3,000 lbs. Pulling it 65 to 75 mph I’m sitting at 2,000 rpm and holding 8th gear. When not pulling anything it performs as I would expect. Plenty of power and runs...
They should be universal for all trims. Not Rubicon specific. The Mopar Performance Rock Rails is what I think they’re called. Mopar part #82215165AC
