I don’t want to jack the OP’s thread, but my truck flexes all the time and the AEV components work very well together. My 5.72” BS and 25mm offset wheels work perfect with the AEV lift.
That’s a good point but I’m running the AEV Salta wheels with backspacing of 5.72” without issue. BS and offset can get confusing. I think 5.72” would push the wheel out a little more that’s why I’m good.
I agree with Bandit. Looks like you have an aftermarket front bumper preventing the reservoirs from being mounted more forward and up. You may have to get a little creative with placement.
According to the info above it’s overkill, but I did mine at 50K miles. Well, dealer did it. I brought them the parts from the online Mopar store and they charged 1.5 hrs labor. I had dealer do it while under factory warranty and I wanted to do it then since I still had 10K miles left of...
Hi there, I put the isolators on top first and did not notice a difference. The bottom coil where it contacts the spring perch solved it. Here are a couple pictures.
What surprised me was the limited amount of complaints submitted to NHTSA. I was browsing various model years of the JT and there weren’t that many cam complaints. Tons on the manual transmission, but not the cams. For all the complaints online it seems weird. Maybe those with failed cams should...
Well done, turned out great! I love my revolver with t-slots. Might not look as good aesthetically, but if you made the risers a little higher you could roll the revolver under the first rail. I looked hard at the T-nutz stuff, but bit the bullet and did Billie Bars for our tonneau.
Possibly, check out the video I posted on page 4 of this thread. Yours would just be faster, more frequent events. I could recreate mine going off a curb. I ultimately determined it was the bottom coil making noise with the perch on the axle. I just reused the factory sleeve. Put a little RTV on...
Just the back. The front uppers are offset and different than the rears. Plus, the front lowers have brackets to bring them outward from the frame and I think the brackets have tighter tolerances than the rear factory mounts.
I’m sure they will take care of you. Reference those part numbers in my other post with the link if you need to. I pulled off my shocks recently and the new bushings and thicker sleeves did the trick.
Thank you for clarifying this Zach@Granger. This gave me piece of mind with my AEV 2.5" with 37s. Exactly like the JT370s that come new on Jeep lots. Purchased the Added Care tonight!
Here’s another for your comparison. I went with Dana Spicer. It’s Dana’s housing and I wanted their OEM quality gear sets going in. This includes installation of lift I supplied, but I think the labor for the gears was 8, 10 hours max. Go somewhere reputable that stands behind their work. Do not...
