It was only inconvenient when I initially went to do it. Now it's easy, since I have the tool.
It actually made a couple of difficult to reach fittings under my truck easier too....
Only the rear lower arms at the frame. I had to buy a 90* tight space grease gun coupler and then jack up the frame. Not a big deal after I had the coupler (Amazon).
These shocks from ADS are "loud", you can really hear the bypass valves cycle.
The noise won't be for everyone. I'm very happy with my choice and I prefer the ride with these over other adjustable reservoir shocks I've driven with.
This is still a work in progress, but the miles keep getting put on this rig.
The shocks and every component of the suspension are holding up well. I have two zerk fittings on the rear Johnny Joints, that were difficult to access, but so far I've been able to service and keep clean. I'm still...
That looks beautiful. I just picked up an older, but upgraded, 8274. My rig is a Rubicon, so trying to figure out how I want to mount the winch. Is yours a "Next Venture" bumper
I had All Terrain Garage in Rialto, California install an RPM 3” long arm lift kit on my 2023 Ecodiesel Rubicon. I went with ADS 3-Tube bypass race shocks. I have about 8K on the set-up so far and dig it for desert roads. The valves in the race shocks are loud, but this thing bombs down desert...
Don't get me wrong on the soft top, I loved it.
The one piece fiberglass is night and day quieter.
I live in Joshua Tree and work in Coachella (hot), no issues.
It's been cold and snowy (for us), still no issues.
It is still a jeep. My wife's Lincoln is much quieter. Her car is also much...
Mine came with the soft top, I like this aftermarket much better than I would have like the factory top. The only thing I don't like is the sliding window in the back. I would rather had a straight piece of glass.
The interior is like an outdoor carpet that is bonded to the fiberglass. I have a “hothead” liner left over from my soft top that I hope works in the new hard top.
I purchased a 2023 Rubicon Diesel. It came with a soft top. I wanted a hard top, but never cared for the removable panels and I wanted the top to be old school tan.
Camper King, in San Diego, just put a gladiator hard top on their website...
