Teraflex 1.5 front leveling kit
I should’ve gone with 37’s. These 35’s have plenty of room at full flex.
I am running the Oracle for nearly 2 years now without a single issue. I am about to try the Diode Dynamics LED tail lights since my headlights and fogs are also from Diode.
Be cautious adding something that you’ll be pulling yourself up with back there. That area of the hardtop just behind the rear doors is VERY weak. something for the drip rail would be a safer option.
The cabin filter should be replaced frequently. Most likely more than once a year. I do mine every other oil change. There is a lot of construction in DFW, so dust accumulation doesn’t take very long on these filters. I’d also recommend a headliner of some kind. My plans are to use some sound...
With OEM wheels, and many aftermarket wheels, there are relief pockets between the lugs on the backside (mating surface) of the wheel. People have successfully installed 1” and 1.25” spacers without cutting studs down. It all depends on the wheel itself.
I am subscribed to emails from this forum and get daily emails about the most popular posts of the previous day. There is also one sent every Monday of the previous week’s most popular posts as a whole. People are posting daily but things do seem to get buried. A lot of issues and modifications...
For insight, I added 35/11.5x17 tires to my stock Rubicon wheels on a Teraflex 1.5” leveling kit. It never rubbed anywhere, but I wanted more stance without buying wheels at the time and added 1.75” Teraflex spacers, which is equal to 44mm. The stock Rubicon wheels are 17x7.5 with a +44mm...
Thanks for the info on noise. As OCD as I am about those things, it’s something I need to take into consideration. One product that is supposed to help with that is a billet coil slider by AGM. It replaces the molded piece between the coils. I’ll be watching some videos on my downtime today for...
I understand the resistance and how it works both ways. I would say that electrical is my weakest link. I just absolutely hate anything related to electrical engineering and diagnosis. Some say you don’t need resistors if you change settings. Some say that their aftermarket lighting, even with...
I had halogens as well. I’m now running Quake LED fender chop DRL’s, Diode Dynamics Elite Max headlights, Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro Fogs, and Oracle flush tails. Almost everything has resistors, but I still programmed all lights to LED through Tazer settings as I had minor pulsing. Most modern...
I also bought the Elite Max from Northridge to replace my abysmal halogen headlights.
Just in case, here are some tips for the installation! The harnesses in the fenders can be a bit of a pain to access and then get properly disconnected to install the new ones. Take care in unlocking the red...
I’m sure they all had a better appearing cutoff from behind the wheel, but I bet it was the opposite for drivers coming toward you. Corolla lights are blinding from head on at any height. Lol
It was actually a packet that they discontinued for some reason. Not sure why or if it was a limited time deal, but I would look at Adam’s, Gtechniq, and Gyeon coatings. They all have glass specific coatings. The most important part for performance, as with any coating, is in the prep work. I...
Glassparency has been really good for me on three different vehicles. They used to have DIY windshield treatments, but it seems they only sell the product through pro installers now. Worth a look either way and came highly recommended to me...
