Ok...I started this thread and 97 post later we have some real progress. In post #75 wheelin98JT sent me a flyer on a Mopar Custom Calibration (inhouse) for a JL. So I shared it with the very uncordial service manager this morning. And I got this email in return:
AUTHENTIC. GENUINE...
So ...went to jeep dealership today where I bought the JT ...and was emphatically told, by a service manager with 20 years experience, that a Chrysler/Jeep tech would never change the factory computer settings regarding tire size, gear ratio or recalibrate speedometer etc on any vehicle as this...
Ok..tire and wheel 109 lbs on the corner...I have positive 34 offset...so they tucked under nicely...I am not driving around like a wild ass with my tires in the on coming lane...I'm 64 y.o.....adjusting speedometer should have nothing to do with this....and oh by the way it is only off by 2...
So ... recently bought a 2021 used (40k) JT Rubicon (not diesel)...8 speed auto trans... lifted it 2.0 inches (Mopar)...put on some 17 inch black rhino wheels and 35 inch mud tread nitto's on it...and driving around town it drives great.. look good too. On highway...well...it sucks...wont leave...
