  1. The love is gone

These types of posts puzzle me. You are on a Jeep enthusiast site, asking people to talk you out of a Ford product. What do you think would happen if you went to a Ford enthusiast site and ask the same question? agree they are sound great on paper, but there is still a lot to learn about the...
  2. What do you do to keep the SNOW AND ICE from covering your LED HEADLIGHTS.

Depends on the type of snow you get. Here in the Seattle area, we tend to get wet, packing snow "Cascade Ready-mix" is what we call it. I can tell you from personal experience that the factory LED headlights (non-heated) will absolutely pack with wet snow, and you will have to stop and clean...
  3. Opinions on cap color

Black hardtop, black top. Color matched hardtop, colored top :)
  4. Buying new gladiator recall

Just a heads up. I doubt they will be able to actually sell you the vehicle, with the recall still un-resolved. But to answer your question, go for it. Lots of negative hype about the recall but the odds of it actually causing an issue are very low.
  5. ☀Tecbaba Deal Event for Rear Bed Step | What Did You Buy for Your Truck Bed?

Like the idea, and I would buy two, if it retracted/stowed
  6. How much weight have you towed with your Diesel Gladiator?

Ooh forgot to mention. If you are able to put the Gladiator on a "diet" it DOES help with the oil and coolant temps quite a bit. More than I was thinking it would. :)
  7. How much weight have you towed with your Diesel Gladiator?

Agreed. Thankfully we have a semi truck/towing speed here in WA, and it's 5mph below the Gen pop speed limit. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one they follow it though! Hahha! A lot of our highways are 70mph posted and that means everyone is doing 80+. Coming from the Audi line, I've found...
  8. How much weight have you towed with your Diesel Gladiator?

Absolutely correct. And I forgot to mention that slowing down is also key. Unfortunately running thru I-90 and most of the others around me if you aren't maintaining 60, you're a hazard. 😀😆
  9. How much weight have you towed with your Diesel Gladiator?

I tow through the Cascades here in western and central Washington. In the summer time, my fully (overloaded) Rpod tests the limits of my stock water/oil cooling capabilities. Just have to be mindful of temps and use the Tazer Cooldown mode to keep plugging along. After a couple of years of...
  10. How much weight have you towed with your Diesel Gladiator?

One very simple question for you: Will you be towing up any mountain passes and/or in high heat areas? These diesel Gladiators tow fine, they just can't town and climb passes without spiking oil temperatures. I'm talking about real mountain passes, not those little baby hills that most of our...
  11. Tazer lightshow button mapping?

Your tips worked great. I was able to turn this mapped button ("SET") to "off/no function". Thanks again. Very helpful.
  12. Tazer lightshow button mapping?

Thank you Thunderspud! I'll give this a try. I appreciate the reply.🤙🤙
  13. Tazer lightshow button mapping?

OMG. Somehow I accidentally mapped the Tazer lightshow "ON" to my cruise control "SET" button. It's obnoxious. Every time I hit "SET" when cruising on the highway, it tries to start the lightshow which I never even wanted to enable begin with). Does anyone have a quick tutorial on how to map...
  14. Is it the glass... or the windshield angle?

i wasn't aware there was anything to even debate. The windshield is flat, and has no aero profile. Any type of glass would crack if placed in this situation....
  15. Cost for tune and delete?

Oooooof. That labor hurts. If you are even somewhat mechanically inclined you should have no issues with the install. Note, I did NOT do the full EGR physical delete. I have the kit but have not had time to do the install. It's just turned off by the PCM at the moment.
  16. Cost for tune and delete?

I would be prepared to spend around $2500 for the parts only. Could change if you have to add back and forth shipping of your OEM PCM/customs etc. I have no idea what labor fees would be.
  17. ECU/PCM clone process & pricing

You will not regret it. It's just a whole different truck now. Driveability is so much better, the mileage bump is nice, but really just a bonus in my opinion. I'm on heavy 35's, lifted 2.5" and got a winch stuffed in front of the grill. The throttle response is absolutely amazing. It's...
  18. ECU/PCM clone process & pricing

Nice! I have been deleted and TCM tuned for a couple thousand miles now. I gained about 5mpg (combined) on the "stock" tune after the delete and I noticed the oil temp runs a little cooler too. Getting about 25mpg now on mixed driving. The overall drive ability is night and day. i ran the +30...
  19. ECU/PCM clone process & pricing

I hear ya. In regards to the TCM tune, correct. ALL the info I got for the PCM and TCM was geared towards the PG3 unit. I just winged it (really hate doing that..) and went with the same process for the PG4 usage. It all worked out. And yes, the "all gears by 70" seemed to work fine. I am...
  20. ECU/PCM clone process & pricing

It took about 3 days. I got my stock files successfully uploaded late Thursday and I finally got the email notification on Saturday. That was with me kinda bugging Martin. I think I annoyed him. LOL But hey! My rig was down for over 2 weeks and I was eager. He was great to work with though...
