  1. 38x11.50R17 Nitto Ridge Grappler

They are quieter, but they are a different frequency and it almost matches the sound of the engine revving and makes me feel like the trans isn't shifting on time, just by sound. Of course it is shifting correctly and with the tazer the speedo is dead on with GPS. It just takes some getting used...
  2. 38x11.50R17 Nitto Ridge Grappler

I am really enjoying mine. 38x12.5R17 Just got home from a 36 mile trip and they were a delight. 😂 They are a lot smoother riding than the 38x13.5R20 STT Pros they replaced, but a sidewall will do that. Here's a side by side shot but keep in mind the Grap is not mounted and has no weight on it.
  3. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

Not today, but a few ago I finally got to test the new Nitto Ridge Grapplers in the snow. They did great in untouched territory but I feel they had a hard time getting out of already created icy rutts. I feel an aggressive M/T might have pulled out better but all in all it did amazing.
  4. 🎄 Christmas Giveaway: What's Your Beloved Jeep's Name? 🎁

2020 JTR. Named "BRUTE". Because I always wanted a Brute Jeep truck since before Jeep was making them. Just got the new 17" Fuel wheels and 38" Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Hoping to get the Hood BRUTE decals for Christmas or a box to mount my on-board compressor in on the bed rack. Good luck to...
  5. Rough idle on cold start, not as bad after warmed up

I bought a scope from temu just for the hell of it like a year ago. The thing is awesome, it has a light, voom, flip image. It's great and only like $25 or something ridiculous like that.
  6. Rough idle on cold start, not as bad after warmed up

Thanks rags, that's good info. I'll have to hook it up and see what my scanner shows, I didn't think it does quite that in depths but it does o2 sensor values, pressures and %'s and etc.. I'm not a tech just have to do my own work mostly because I can't afford to pay someone, I learn what I need...
  7. Rough idle on cold start, not as bad after warmed up

Ya, no lights on dash I do have a scanner that provides live data, I just need to know what the numbers should be before I can tell which ones are off. To be honest it is so slight I haven't put that much effort into it. Figuring a tune up and cleaning would fix it. If not, then I'd start...
  8. Which of these rims do you prefer?

The Fuels are my choice. I would usually pick the grenades i think, but that's close to what I have now (just Black and Red) and am ready for a change.
  9. Rough idle on cold start, not as bad after warmed up

Not knowing this engine very good, I wont be much help but I have the same issue in my 2020 3.6 sitting around 71K. First thing in the morning and then after sitting for the day, 4-5 hours or more, it just seems to stumble a little for 20 or 30 seconds before smoothing out. I have just...
  10. 38x11.50R17 Nitto Ridge Grappler

Very good looking. I have a set showing up Monday in 38x12.5. I was worried about them being too skinny since I'm used to 13.5s but now I think they will be good. Its great to hear that everyone is still happy with their purchase even after a while.
  11. Local Bay Rea Meetup

I am near Chico, an hour or so above Sacramento. We'd be interested in a Jeep meet around the bay area. Definitely keep this updated or start an official Jeep Meet thread once there is enough interest. Mendocino coast would be an awesome place for a Jeep meet and trail ride as well.
  12. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Ordered it a set of new tires... 38X12.5R17 Ridge Grapplers. Now I need some 17" wheels...
  13. We're in a Beachy Mood!!! Show us your Rig on Sand!

By the bridge in FT Bragg Ca. Not exactly on the beach but on sand near the beach. As close as I've been able to get so far. I'll be finding that undisclosed location Mash! I have an idea, but not sure if I'm correct
  14. Any 2020 Gladiator Owners Still Here?

I'm still here with my 2020 JTR. Mid 50Ks. But I just bought mine a few months ago and just signed up recently so I guess I probably don't count as "still here" since I just arrived. 😂
  15. So, what is everybody towing?

Nice off-road trailer Spud! Simplicity and functionality, done well. I've been wanting to get a lifted trailer and pull off the RTT to save weight and fuel on the other 28 days of the month that I'm not using it.
  16. So, what is everybody towing?

Thanks Guys. I wasn't sure it was going to be able to tote it since I read the rating of the Jeep is only about 4 thousand, though it did it so now I will invest in the WDH. I aimed the headlights WAY down right after I got the Jeep. Just with the small lift and 38s I was getting flashed...
  17. Drive on the Beach

I know this is an old post, but for the future readers who may want the same thing... the only place in (actual Nor Cal) I have found is Usal Beach campground in Ft Bragg. It's a nice trail ride to get there and you can drive and camp right on the sand. I have been looking as well and have yet...
  18. Oil Pressure (Too high?)

Wow, I am glad I stumbled across this. I really thought I was losing it or something was very wrong. I am seeing low to mid 30s and higher 70s and started thinking I had a problem developing. I guess I need to look into the whole 2 stage thing.. Thanks for asking Rhino!
  19. So, what is everybody towing?

Bad photo, but all I have at the moment.
  20. So, what is everybody towing?

We're towing an old @ss Trail Manor 2720. I think loaded with all the camp gear I gotta be right around 4K lbs. It sits the Gladiator down in the rear a bit but it still felt good and strong on the road. Heading up the mountains towards Mt Lassen / Hat Creek area was working it pretty good...
