You read all kinds of info on the internet,(it's gotta be true, right?), but anyway, I read once where all cars manf after 1996, were chipped so that they could be located by the powers that be. True or not, the technology is there. I seem to believe that the creature comforts and reliability of...
No thank you. I just sold a GMC Duramax diesel that I bought new , due to quality problems. The chickens came home to roost as the truck aged. 63K on the miles. I would not buy a new GM anything unless they get their head out of their "you know what" and give the customer what they want, not...
Willys pkg is high to me. I did an "any distance" search from Ky for a new 23 or 24 Willys. Lots of 44k units but only one less than that. Not sure of the option list, though.
Your deal isn't as important as buying the right model to suit your needs. To me as I was looking, towing was important, as was navigation for the wife. Warranty left was another big factor, so I settlef on the year model 23. That gives me a remainder in warranty, extra options and since it was...
I considered it too. But since there was a factory furnace vent at that location, the mod was easier to accept. Your idea will work for sure, the more air flow the coils on the ac have, the better it will work. I also tried a portable 8000 btu inside the camper the 1st year. It vented out a...
Very nice rig. I plan to pull my 67 Scotty from time to time. For the A/C on it, I simply cut a hole that my very small 5000 btu unit would fit thru, and hinged a return air vent on a piece of allucobond. I bungee it to the roof and slide the ac out from its foldable shelf. 2 minutes tops.
I just went through the same decision. I wanted xtra towing capacity, and a few creature comforts. So I looked for the Sport (max tow) in dealer inventory. Very rare here in my area. Dealers order most of these trucks with a quick order box and max tow isnt a priority. But it a small step up...
You're probably right. The first half dozen Glads I saw when they 1st came out , were sport models with stock wheels. Not saying there is anything wrong with that setup, but I like a little lift and a little more tire. Then I saw a Black Rubicon at a Tenn rest stop with 35s. There is a drool...
New to the forum, and maybe a little surprised to not find a " member introduction" section. But it would be a little impolite to weigh in on topics without saying hi. We just pulled the trigger on a '23 Rubicon Gladiator a couple of weeks ago. Not my first jeep by any means, I've owned CJ 5s...
