I have a rugged liner also has a nice tight fit, no drilling unless you want to have access to the holes where the trail rails mount. The liner goes all the way up to just under the bed rails. I believe when installing I had to remove the tie downs in the bed by the cab and then reinstalled them...
I have a drop in bed liner and have ran a tiger trifold for years with no problem and now I'm running a fastop roll-up with no issues. The tyger clamped to the bed rails so there was no interference. The fastop mounts to the trail rail bolt holes and I have it mounted on top of the bed liner...

I have a trifold and roll-up the trifold is nic because you unclamp to clamps and fold it back if you need more space but you cant open it all the way if you need full bed acces.. The roll-up alows me to roll it back and have full bed acces with ease.

I got the LOD armorlite witch are aluminum (destroyer are steel) and the extra steps that go on and off easily. I just put them on last week, took about 2 hours by myself. So far so good
