  1. Found this on a Wrangler site...

It's my experience here where I live in Florida that the more ducks people have across their dash the least likely they are to do the jeep wave...
  2. Death wobble in stock gladiator!!

You are correct, I quickly read over the first post before my first cup of coffee so reading comprehension was not kicking in :CWL: As you were :)
  3. Death wobble in stock gladiator!!

You have way too much confidence that the factory got it right, never hurts to have it checked. Just my opinion...
  4. Death wobble in stock gladiator!!

A very smart person told me that have caster checked, that was on a brand new TJ that i had just lifted, he told me it should be 5.7 degrees, don't know if that would be the same on our newer Gladiators, anyway, it fixed it and never had another problem...
  5. GMRS antenna question

Thank you for that explanation Zapper. I did turn it on and had it scan through the channels but couldn't hear anything, that could just mean there's no one broadcasting in my area, which I think is likely. I'll have to see if I can get a walkie talkie to test it out.
  6. GMRS antenna question

Thank you for the reply Zapper, if I'm understanding your reply the conductor you mentioned appears to be insulated by plastic around it so I should be fine then?
  7. GMRS antenna question

Hi guys, sorry if this has been asked and answered but I recently installed my Midland MXT275, while installing the antenna the mount came with a plastic spacer that wouldn't fit in the mount, my question is will it harm the radio if the part of the antenna that goes through the mount touches...
  8. Installing GMRS radio using power from aux bundle under dash

That's just it, it's not connecting to the fuse box. I saw a video that explained one of the wires in the bundle goes direct to power (I assume battery but could go through a fuse), the only problem is I can't find the video again. I'd prefer not to go through the firewall if I don't have to...
  9. Installing GMRS radio using power from aux bundle under dash

Hi all, So I'm trying to figure out what wire to use from the auxiliary wire bundle under the dash but not use one of the aux switches. There's some extra wires that I think are not used for aux switches, can someone please tell me which one I can use that will supply power to my gmrs radio...
  10. Tazer and radio

I have short stubby fingers from my youth milking cows, I found it wasn't too hard using a mechanics pick, one with a 90* end, it helped out greatly! I still don't think anyone has fully answered it the cable extensions are causing the glitches people are reporting, that I'd really like to know!
  11. What is this plastic on the back wall?

Two questions: 1) do you have more pictures of the rear bulkhead and 2) how hard was it to take the plastic off, any observations/tips of what not to do when removing it? Thanks!
  12. Tazer and radio

Sounds to me like the extension cable is the issue and not the tazer...
  13. Tazer and radio

Thanks guys, that's what I thought. I didn't bother with those cables but only because when I installed my tazer I didn't know about them.
  14. Tazer and radio

What is this extension cable you're talking about?
  15. Tazer and radio

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks the instructions are piss poor. I've only done the tire size with my Tazer but want to do other options as well but am damn afraid to try since it's so frustrating!
  16. MOPAR Upper cylinder cleaner to help prevent predetonation issues

Amsoil has something similar but cheaper. I use it prior to every oil change, be ready to lay a smoke screen like a navy destroyer for a few minutes.
  17. 5k mile oil changes in spite of oil life indicator still showing plenty left

I use the same oil, still change between 3-5K, do the same with my Challenger.
  18. 5k mile oil changes in spite of oil life indicator still showing plenty left

The only reason I look at that oil percentage is curiosity, I always change oil between 3-5K miles, usually closer to 3K.
