    My local shop rate (in NY) is $245/h for what it’s worth. $200-300/h seems about right if they know what they’re doing. I wish I had the knowledge/tools/time to do it myself but time spent working on the car meant less time out playing with it. let us all know what you decide!

    Sometimes you have to double bag if you’re worried about leaking… Maybe I need to say it a different way so you’ll understand what I’m asking - Does the spare tire protect the bed from underneath when rock crawling or is there no benefit to leaving it on?

    Slightly off topic but if I get a 5th wheel/37” tire and plan to keep it in the bed, do I leave the factory spare to protect the bed or is there no added benefit of leaving it and just extra weight? I’m planing to keep a full sized spare for off roading and the factory spare as a donut for back...
