I’m currently running Michelin Defenders LTX MS2 on my 2022 Sport S. Great tire and the are rated Extra Load which is a bit better than standard load rating that usually is found in non LT tires.
If yours is not a max tow model with the standard 3.73 gear ratio, I would recommend keeping the factory wheels and mount an all terrain 265/70R70 size tire. This is a very popular tire size and with many choices. This size will be an upgrade and still keep the drivability of the stock vehicle.
Had the same early on with my 2022. It was an 02 sensor as well. Then another 02 sensor went within the same month. Replaced under warranty. Would be good to get a code on it. They actually run ok with just one of the sensors going bad. After the initial fail, the computer compensates for...
My Sport S with Michelin Defenders M/S2 with XL load. 265/70R17. Could not be happier with this tire. Also comes 285/70R17 too, but the more robust LT load rated.
I have absolutely enjoyed having my Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 265/70R17 on my Sport S. I believe it also comes in a LT285/70R17 which would be appropriate for the Rubicon. This is a superior tire for wet roads and has done great on limited winter precipitation down here in Atlanta.
This might worth a shot. I keep getting UConnect service alerts. This solved it. The brains on the UConnect lives under the dash near steering wheel and is easy to get to. I unlatched the power cord to the unit (circled in red) and then I gently pushed all the connections going to the unit...
Here’s a thought. Last year I bought a partial Mopar OEM CAI from a member on this forum. He was selling everything from the kit but the hood cutout and filter. I was very happy to get the kit without the parts that I was not planning to use, plus a good discount. So there is probably a good...
SUCCESS so far
After a deep dive on the net, I find that there is a module Mopar TBM2 unit that is the brains of the UConnect system. It has inputs to the head unit and receives multiple antenna inputs from XM, cellular, and GPS. This unit is very easy to access. Just pull and remove the trim...
2022 Gladiator Sport S. Just curious has is anyone have been able to resolve this at the dealership or at home hack? I still have a U Connect subscription that works fine. Even though the ASSIST has a red called alert light illuminated, it still works. Thanks. It’s just annoying on every start.
Sounds like mine. 2022 Sport S 3.6 46,000 with just slightly oversized tires as you can see in my profile pic. I think it’s normal. While parked, give it a rev or two, if no cam damage, the sound should not increase in frequency.
I highly recommend the auto stop start eliminator. I know others will say just press the disable button every time you start the engine. After installing the auto stop start eliminator, it remembers the last selected position after the car is turned off...
I changed my 0w-20 oil to 0w-30 last week. I know it might the “placebo effect,” but the engine seems to be smoother and quieter. I’ve been watching the oil pressure and oil temps, they seem to be the same as when 0w-20 was used.
Went ahead and replaced the oil pan. Was going to wait until fall, but without having a heated garage, I thought the RTV application and curing would do better in the warmer weather. Had to make a quick trip to Harbor Freight (sigh) to get a Icon torque inch Lbs. wrench. My other torque...
I plan to switch from 0w-20 to 0w-30 next oil change. This is my first Blackstone report from my latest oil change on 0w-20. It’s to establish a baseline. What’s y’all’s thought on the results? Thanks
