  1. 392 Gladiator V8 Hemi confirmed by Jeep CEO!

    Excellent point
  2. Who says you can’t put the inline 6 Hurricane in a Jeep?

I always thought the Volkswagen VR6 was a cool idea for small engine compartments. The design fits so many platforms well, even front wheel drive vehicles. Too bad the engineers didn’t try creating an engine like the VR6 and put turbos or superchargers on it.
  3. 392 Gladiator V8 Hemi confirmed by Jeep CEO!

Here….The Jeep Convoy concept. I love this concept vehicle. I think the front end looks great! Old Gladiator styling modernized. Make this happen, and you have plenty of room for cooling. Make the slots taller going down and you have even more cooling capacity. Hell, you could even make it more...
  4. 392 Gladiator V8 Hemi confirmed by Jeep CEO!

In my opinion, I LOVE the idea of a V8 in the Gladiator. I am not happy with the 3.6, nor do I think I would be happy with the diesel. I drove both before buying a Gladiator and neither really impressed me. Yes, the diesel has a lot more torque than the 3.6, but still is lacking in my opinion...
  5. Traded my Gladiator very reluctantly

The brakes have been great in my Mojave, even with 37’s. I have never towed with my Gladiator, but it’s gutless enough just normal driving. Hell, it weighs as much as a 1/2 ton, it NEEDS more power in my opinion. I wouldn’t buy a 1/2 ton with a V6 or 4 banger, and I wouldn’t buy a Gladiator with...
  6. AEV’s 2-inch Spacer Lift

I have the AEV 2ā€ on my Mojave with 37’s and it has been great. No rubbing at all. I do have the shock extensions and geometry correction brackets. I off-road every day at work with no issues.
  7. Future Sibling: Ram Dakota Pickup First Look!

To me it’s Fugly. It reminds of a larger Hyundai Sante Fe
  8. 2026 Jeep JT Hybrid

I was lucky. I bought it extremely cheap, and all I upgraded were the tires, and the stereo system. It was still stock but was in immaculate condition when I sold it.
  9. 2026 Jeep JT Hybrid

Too late, I already bought a used Mojave…with all the bells and whistles! šŸ˜‚
  10. 2026 Jeep JT Hybrid

I did. In 2007 I bought a brand new 2008 JK Wrangler X 2 door, manual tranny, manual windows and locks, base radio, vinyl seats, soft top. No frills at all. I bought it because it was a new Jeep for $18,500. I put 100,000 miles on it and sold it for $15,000. Hell yeah I would do the exact same...
  11. 2026 Jeep JT Hybrid

Not a knee jerk reaction. I love electrification. The tools they have now due to electrification are awesome. That doesn’t mean I want it or should be forced to buy one. It should be my choice what I spend my hard earned money on. I will never buy a PHEV or EREV vehicle. I’ve never wanted one...
  12. Fort Hood TX

I’m from Texas and I hated it at Fort Hood. It sucked there! Great place to go driving the trails though. Have fun!
  13. New Mojave - Multiple leaks

I agree with American made issues. As Americans we expect better, and should expect better, from American manufacturers and workers. There used to be this thing called pride. Unfortunately, a lot of our people have lost that along the way, and it shows in American made products. Also, the...
  14. 392 Gladiator V8 Hemi confirmed by Jeep CEO!

I had a YJ that also articulated pretty good on leaf springs, but beat the hell out me driving down the road. I only had to buy one beer, it would foam up in my stomach and turn into a six pack while driving. Saved me lot of money! šŸ˜‚
  15. Toyo open country RT pro?

Not that this helps you about the Pros. I have the Toyo open country R/T Trail 37/12.50 R17 LT, E rated, not the Pros. They ride smoother and better than the stock C rated Falken A/T tires that came on my Mojave. Noise wise they are the same as the Falkens. They are not the RT Pros, but they...
  16. V8’s On The Horizon……..(?)

Thanks for the info. It sounds so easy…until I read your reply. šŸ˜‚
  17. V8’s On The Horizon……..(?)

Sorry, I screwed up and made the whole post a quote. šŸ™„
  18. seat comfort

I have a 21 Mojave with Leather seats. I have a 5-5 1/2 hour trip for work I drive a lot. For me they are very comfortable. After 2-3 hours my butt does start to get a little sore. I stop, top off the fuel, use the restroom, then finish the trip. The short break is perfect, with no more soreness...
