I have a spare rear steel bumper I bought as a package with the front steel bumper. I don't need it as I have a rear steel with the side pieces already, but was wondering if I can swap the bumpers and use the rear sensor holes to put lights in. I don't have the rear sensors, but does anyone know...
So far I like them. Sat them in the sun for a bit to make putting them in easier. Still have to sort out some of the clips so we don't catch on them, but they fit well and have great coverage.
I had a cheap one in there, but didn't like the look. What I had looks like their 6 switch pod setup, but bought at Princess for ~60. Big trouble was it was always lit up, and hard to tell if the switch was on. Green switch was off and a yellowy green switch was on.
It worked fine, didn't fit...
I did the install yesterday and only have something connected to Aux 4, but all 4 light up when pushed.
But, they didn't at first. So I ended up giving up on properly pinning the orange wire and crimped them instead. Both connections were not tight so I crimped both.
You probably need to fix...
On the advice of someone else here (not sure of the thread) I ordered TuxMat for my Glad. Showed up this week so I'm putting them in today (yesterday was the Aux switch install day). I like the looks of them on the website, seem to offer good coverage. Plus the box can be built into a little Jeep.
Well, it is done and working and my back is now complaining. I don't contort as well as I did 40-45 years ago.
Had to give up on the orange wires in the proper connectors and spliced them instead. And getting the wire look through the firewall was a PITA, but the rest went fine.
Now I need to...
I did end up ordering the Mopar kit, mostly because it was about $200 Cdn cheaper than getting the Z auto one up here. Yeah, I have to play with pins. But still expect the tazer to be able to enable them.
@HooliganActual I'm looking for as factory as possible. And I'd like to have some switches (winch solenoid) not powered unless I intend to have it powered, and only with the motor running.
@gatorboy Do I need the dealer to program this, or can I not just enable it with my Tazer. From what I've...
The Z auto website shows them controlling the switches, but has anyone here actually done this?
Having said that, it looks like I can get the Mopar kit for less.
Is this kit missing anything?

Or is this...
So I have a cheap ($60) switch set I picked up at Princess (Canada's Harbor Freight) that I want to upgrade and make it look factory. I have the left side locker switches so just need the right side. The switches I bought look light up brighter when they are off than when they are on, don't fit...
Well. It is put together, but not on yet. I need to find some people to help lift it on.
First impressions are it came very well packed and is built pretty well. I was missing a set of washers, but reading online this seems to be a common issue. I had a pack of stainless washers so it was not...
Yes. I have a switch in the truck that I can turn on and off the power to my winch (and bed power the way mine is wired) instead of having to open the hood. It's a 500 amp solenoid, so plenty of capability.
I need to put mine back on now that it has warmed up. Put the panels on for the winter.
I did not get the twill one, but am happy with mine. I really don't notice it any louder, but maybe I should go for a drive first and test with my phone.
First pic is the hinge I used. Kinda like it in the end. Second is with the circuit breaker for the 56 ga wire going to the bed. Both the winch and that feed are off the solenoid, so I can leave them turned off most of the time and only on when I want to winch or air up. I re-wired my compressor...
