  1. Unhappy with Zeibart. What do I do?

I agree with you. I was thinking of it from a perspective of if he actually got that coating removed. Then go for the other brand, and get way from the Ziebart disappointment he was dealing with. Definitely agree though, if can’t get that old stuff off, pretty much stuck with the Ziebart...
  2. Opinion: Jeep Made A Massive Mistake By Giving Up On The Gladiator 4xe

Definitely agree, if they could have gotten the ranges up through technology/transmission changes from the older components that are in place. I was looking forward to the possibility of the JT 4xE from the hybrid operation view, especially after my work commute requirement changed this year. I...
  3. Unhappy with Zeibart. What do I do?

Can’t help you with the removal, but instead of Ziebart next year, find your local Fluid Film shop instead, better product and haven’t been to one yet that didn’t listen to what I asked for. Ziebart is too commercialized to really listen to what is needed by their customers. From Ohio, so I...
  4. Thoughts coming from a full size pickup to a Gladiator?

I do miss the quietness of the cabin and the interior room of the Silverado, but the JT suits my needs. Can tow the boat, camper, hauls landscaping materials and furniture. And there is nothing more satisfying than seeing the coworkers faces when showing up to a site with the entire top off with...
  5. Anyone have the Teraflex Nomad Wheels and your thoughts?

Looks good! The Teraflex wheels I think were right around 30lbs which is right in the lighter middle for aftermarket, a few lighter options out there, and definitely heavier options out there like many of Black Rhino’s offerings. I’m currently in paralysis by analysis with a spreadsheet trying...
  6. Youtube Channel- Do you have one?

Still in middle of edits as I’m am new to Adobe Premier. Currently going through interior changes to audio and sound deadening in phased approach, and showing install, comparisons to stock and upgrades, using actual music/studio recording equipment to hopefully catch the frequency nuances...
  7. Georgia Sold: Car audio for sale

I have several car audio items for sale that I decided to not use towards my JT or my wife’s JLU. Amp 1: PENDING (Brand New in Box) Polk Audio PA D4000.4; 125 watts x 4 @4 ohm, 200 watts x 4 @ 2 ohm, 0.1% THD, SNR 105 dB Amp 2: SOLD (used, good condition) Alpine MRP-M200; 150 watts x 1 @ 4...
  8. That's Actually Not A Bad Deal - Dirt Road Cred / AMW 5.7 Gladiator

It would be great to see happen. If they followed something like the Durango pricing structure (GT plus V6 to a GT 5.7), it would be roughly a $5k-ish difference in pricing option. I’d be willing to pay $5-6k more for a 5.7 per trim level if they could keep it reasonable. Chrysler/Stellantis...
  9. 290/70/17 or 285/75/17

I’m not a tire expert, but after suffering on 3.73 gears on my 4Runner before my last two Jeeps (JL/JT), my only suggestion is to go with the lightest of the two that you’re looking at if you don’t plan on regearing. I get that we have an 8-speed trans on these to help compensate , but when I...
  10. When Did The Grey (Off White) Interior Option Go Away?

Oh man that would have been an amazingly small world, but mine is pretty regular traffic. Mine only came with sliders and the previous owner left the overhead sunshades in it, which has been great here in FL so far.
  11. When Did The Grey (Off White) Interior Option Go Away?

Wouldn’t happen to have been a Sting Gray one? That’s where mine was shipped from.
  12. When Did The Grey (Off White) Interior Option Go Away?

Pretty sure that changed with the 2024 interior refresh, they went to that green color that Bantam above mentioned. Quite disappointed personally in the new interior color when I went shopping last year. I ended up with a ā€˜21 Mojave instead that had the grey leather interior.
  13. Mojito! Now Available on Jeep Gladiator For First Time!

I’m in same boat, I love the color but my wife hates it and she hated Gecko. So here I am driving a Sting Gray Mojave šŸ˜. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind the gray, but with Jeeps, I’ve always loved the bright colors.
  14. Bulldog winch opinions?

Both good for the price, but as just my $.02, I’d go with the Badlands for this reason, easy to get to their store and walk in and exchange it if have an issue within the first 90 days, and if you spring for the 2-year, you get 2 years of walk in and exchange for a replacement should something...
  15. Mojave shocks

If they are outside of the 3/36 warranty, and if you like the suspension, get a cheap set of shocks or takeoffs to put on it, and send the Foxes out for rebuild. If you’ve added any weight (bumper/winch), topper/heavy rack and equipment, etc, you can get them revalved at the same time with the...
  16. Suspension -- Old Man Emu (OME) DP-51

It really is a shame they didn’t bring that series to the JT. OME, especially the BP51 series, is a phenomenal suspension on the Yota side, I haven’t gotten to experience it yet on the Jeep side. Not a tall lift by any means across the board, but great performance if you just want to be in the...
  17. What's Your Body Count?

    For Jeeps, ā€˜21 JLU and ā€˜21 JT, and a ā€˜89 XJ. 18 other cars/trucks mostly Toyota’s.
  18. Back In A Gladiator...3rd time

As Jeep/Stellantis consider what to do for the future of Gladiators, I wish they would/could track metrics like this, 2 and 3 gladiator purchases by the same owners. Multiple repeat buyers (loyalty metrics) like this situation. Maybe Brand conversion like me (long time Toyota owner over to Jeep...
  19. Bulldog winch opinions?

Not well know, but not bad winches. Their powder coated parts have never been their strong point though, but haven’t seen any performance negatives in terms of the gearing or electric failures. Their gearing is pretty decent at a 265:1 (more pull power, but slower line speed). Another one in...
  20. Trading the Gladiator in for Gen-5 4Runner

Man, I’d love to hear what she has to say about the new gen’s lol. The OP should be good to go with a 5th gen 4Runner, super solid vehicle, been around since 2010, I had 2 of them before my Glady and JL. But definitely stay away from the new 6th gen’s hitting the street, as well as the new 4th...
