I was just about to post this very same issue. I only have 6,000 miles on my 2024 and my map light was buzzing with the bass, and seemingly getting worse. Initially, I thought the buzzing was inside the speakers but recently zeroed in on the map light.
Before unscrewing all the torx head screws...
Suffered with this with my JK and just kept a big bottle of water under the seat and had it ready on every fill-up. Much to my dismay, it happened to me on my very first JT fill-up which caused me to raise my head to the sky and cry to the cloud covered top of Mount Stellantis "NOOOoooo!!"
I gave my son my JKUR, with 40k miles, for graduating mechanical engineering with a 4.0. He's still living at home saving for a house ... so that JK is still in my driveway. I had it just the way I wanted it ... I just need to find a similar balance for the JTRX.
I'm chuckling at the hate on the value and utilitarianism of this vehicle amidst our forum community's disappointment in Jeep abandoning manual locks and windows as well as skyrocketed MSRPs.
Hey ... People in my neighborhood are whipping around in golf carts that cost more than this thing
Ironic you post this. Jeep Cares has tried three times to send me the hard copy version of the Gladiator manual but I keep receiving the 375 page Wrangler version. I think this is close enough for me …
Sorry for creating a useless thread Dave … Wouldn’t want to waste bandwidth like announcing I bought a JT and then not posting a photo of it LOL!!!
Precisely why I dare post a "tired" topic. I did the chalk test (so many times) on my JKU and 34 PSI seemed best for the results I could determine while also comparing forum members' results with the exact same type Toyos. All factors considered ... I rank "wear pattern" as my top priority...
Interesting,
I was just replying to @Sigz about mpg difference and wondering about contact patch in the middle. What's interesting is that I took delivery to my house (via a driver) from the dealer and the dealer had all the tires pegged at 32 PSI.
Was hoping someone had already chalk tested and either confirmed or refuted the manufacturer recommended 37 PSI. My JKU was spot-on at 34 PSI for same size Toyo A/Ts
I just bought my JTRX in January and I've been running the stock 33" A/T tires at the door jam recommended 37 PSI
As we head into hot weather, I find it hard to believe a cold reading of 37 PSI is going to be comfortable or wear appropriately.
