I'm so sorry to hear about what you and your wife are going through.
I'm retired and my 80 year old sister lives with me. She's 100% disabled and I'm her primary
care giver. She has multiple health problems and can't take care of herself. Fortunately,
she has in home health care that provides...
The Willys '41 is high on my list of trucks to buy. I like the military look, but don't like the decals (4x4/Willys) on the hood.
How hard is it to remove the decals without damaging the paint? Should I try myself or ask the dealer to do it.
Or bring it in to a body/paint shop?
This is how it...
I can't say for sure just yet, but this summer I may buy the Willys Gladiator '41.
If I do I'll be exploring off-road trails in the Angeles National Forest (SoCal area).
Thanks everyone for your comments, they have been very helpful.
I can see that there is a lot to consider when towing a travel trailer.
Doing some research I see that the Gladiator Willys '41 has these features...
Dana 44 axles, 240 amp alternator, class IV hitch, heavy duty engine cooling, 7...
I like the military look. I've always been a fan of military vehicles, and many years ago owned a
1948 Jeep Willys CJ2A. It was the civilian version of the WWII Jeep. It was a blast to drive off-road!
When I first got interested in Gladiators I was considering the Rubicon and Mojave. But after...
Thanks folks for the great information.
I did some more digging on Jeep's site and found that the Willys '41 does have the Dana 44 axles,
240 amp alternator, and heavy-duty engine cooling. So that's a good start.
I live in Southern California where it can get hot in the spring & summer. And...
I've got my eye on the 2026 limited edition Willys '41 Gladiator. Mostly for mild off-roading and exploring mountain & desert roads.
But also for pulling a travel trailer. The trailer I have in mind is 15' and has a dry weight of 2350 lbs.
The Willys '41 has a 6,000 lbs towing capacity and...
For me the wheels in the second photo look awesome. I love that green military look, and they
look good on your Gladiator.
But I'm curious, where do you find wheels like that?
Thanks for that information. Hopefully it does have a trail cam, too.
I consider the Willys 41 as kind of a novelty, but one that I like. Next I have to compare the Willys 41 to the Mojave and see which will be right for me.

Maybe Parkview rear back-up camera is different from a usual back-up camera?
Can we discuss the 2026 Willys '41 Gladiator some more?
I'm attracted to this Gladiator. I've always been a fan of military vehicles, and this one looks pretty cool to me. Long time ago I owned a 1947 Willys CJ2A and it was a blast to drive off-road.
I like those LT255/75R17c 32" mud terrain...
If you want a 2025 Gladiator I wouldn't wait too long. There are 6 Jeep dealerships within a 25 mile radius of me. Looking at their sites I don't see too many 2025 models available. Some dealers don't show any. 20 to 22% off MSRP is typical. But if you negotiate you may do better.
This is a good point. The range of the Recon and Gladiator is almost the same.
For myself, I'd have to consider the cost of charging (both at home and public) and
time to charge. But I'm sure it's a lot cheaper than buying gas. Where I live the least expensive
gas is $4.39/gal. The Gladiator...
