Hi All, What model number are the Bilstein shocks everyone is using? I have a 2023 Rubicon and would like to improve the ride. I have considered new tires but still have a bunch of tread on the Falcons. Actually, if I had known how rough the ride would be I would have gotten a Willys, but the...
I ran your vehicle as a base SR5 with standard options and silver as the color for Albuquerque on Kelly Blue Book. I tried Edmunds but it wanted a VIN that I didn't have, however you could easily get that information. Keep in mind that KBB is owned by the dealers association. Average trade...
I would need more information on what you are trading, e.g. year, miles, condition, etc.
I'm not sure why you are being charged for window tint, I thought all Rubicons came with tinted glass (mine did, 2023 Rubicon). The bed liner charge is pretty consistent with what I have seen if the Rubicon...
When you offer personal maintenance records, you don't put or leave personal information in the document, similar to Carfax and the rest of them. Just the VIN, mileage and work done. I do include the oil (viscosity, manufacturer and SAE spec) and filter specification.
I also do my own maintenance and keep records. None of this is on carfax or anywhere else. On vehicles I have traded it, I offer the dealers my maintenance records and they are never interested, Yet if I'm a buyer I am very interested. Don't know why the dealers don't want the information. I...
Like most everyone else, I run through a Touchless wash in the winter to get the salt off and rinse the undercarriage from Wisconsin winter road yuck. No leak issues (only factory seals) and no air dryer issues. As noted in other posts, the wash does a fair job but not great.
Agree with Janster, it's just good maintenance to have the alignment checked. It may or may not be out of alignment but a good alignment shop will also check other steering components (e.g. tie rod ends, steering stabilizer, etc.)
I'm wondering if Bestop has some quality control issues. I just bought a Sunrider for my Gladiator, it fits well, but leaks on the passenger side. I contacted Bestop, they asked for a picture, sent that off, have not heard from them for days. I have heard that their customer service is poor...
Kind of a personal preference question. I drive a manual because I prefer shifting and have more control over the vehicle (I'm 70 yo). A friend has an automatic. We both get about the same gas mileage. I agree that the automatic is better/easier in stop and go traffic, but again, personal...
Here's my two cents; I have a 2023 Gladiator Rubicon that I bought about 6 months ago with 27k miles. I didn't really want a Rubicon as I don't need lockers, ride height and all terrain tires, however it was the only Gladiator I found with some of my "must have" options (Nav, Alpine, Manual...
I had a Leer with a rear "step up" cap on my Chevy and loved it. Solid, quiet, well built. I have considered one for my Gladiator but, at least for now, will keep my Mopar tonneu.
I put these on my 2023 Gladiator Rubicon. Fronts fit great, had to drill one hole in the plastic liner inside (away from the fender edge) to support the inside of the mud flap. The other mud flap holes lined up with existing plastic rivets. You will need a plastic riveter.
The rear flaps sort...
