I was afraid of that. I think you're right. A new frame complete with an emotional support Mojave. They do get lonely.
This is what I was looking for. I was looking at Mopar touch up paint, but Rustoleum has treated me pretty well on my older vehicles.
If you can still get alignments I am...
I will get getting Rusty's skids here soon. Thank you for the advice.
My biggest concern is alignment woes but I think I hit softly enough that nothing should be off.
37s is my limit because I still need to DD this. I am open to a 3.5" lift, but I think 2.5s are a little easier to live with...
I had some underbody damage to my LCA from some bad lines and taking a trip before my skids came in. I wanted to get some advice on how to best fix this.
The most obvious answer would be to abrade, polish, then paint, but I was wondering if I should be worried about straightening anything...
Hello,
My brother and I ran Metberry Gultch in Divide Colorado today. A beautiful trail, moderate difficulty, though the amount of washout has made the lower end of the trail more difficult that normal according to some regulars.
The day went pretty smoothly, though we turned around at...
Apologies.
That front range of the rocky mountains runs the eastern slope from southern Wyoming to a little south of pueblo. It is a pretty common term around here, but I probably should have been more specific. I am located in Colorado Springs, but I am open to travel. I'd like to stay in...
Hello,
I have been a gladiator owner for about 6 months, and so far I have done Schubarth loop and Hell's Creek Spur a couple of times with my brother.
I was wondering if anyone had some current trail info for a good next step. I have heard Hackett had some trail maintenance recently which...
The forecast has some rain and snow mixed over the next few days.
The shop said they would clean it up and that everything should be waterproof, but this makes me feel better about going without. Thanks for the input.
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could let me know definitively if I am safe to run without an inner fender liner on the front passenger side of a 2024 Gladiator Rubicon.
The dealership ordered the wrong replacement liner and tore the one that they were replacing under warranty, so I am...
Welp, my brand new baby with less than 500 miles is rubbing the inner fender on the passenger side when you hard right with passengers.
I figured this was a fixed issue.
Oh well. Gonna go after a warranty fix, but does anyone have a solution to keep this from happening again?
Negotiation is an art form I never really picked up from my dad. He could sell ice to an Eskimo. I was still able to hold them to a pretty hard line. Just remember, negotiation is part of the experience and these sales are because Jeep overpriced and undersold these trucks. If 52600 is a price...
Power leather seats are a stand alone option you can add. I have them on my 2024 Rubicon that just has the convenience package and preferred 2R. 2024 Rubicons also all seem to come with the tow and aux packages as default now.
Suggested retail MSRP was 63275. I ended up going new because I was literally looking at saving 2k off to go used before I went 3 rounds with the dealership.
It's a community building exercise. Make the Jeep owner go around asking other people what it should be when the link they tell you to go to in the manual is expired. The adventure really does start before you drive it off the lot.
I will say that this sale is just a holdover of the year end sale that "ended" on the 3rd of this month. This sale will continue until enough are gone to send the rest to auction.
I just bought a 2024 Rubicon from Autonation. I got out for 43000ish before taxes, fees, and dealer markup BS. I...
I do, but I technically have 2. The one *in the truck* does not list a class IV hitch, while the photo copy I got does as does the one from online. I have everything except the cooling as separate line items, but in a dedicated thread I made it was found that all 2024 Rubicons and Mojave have...
Camping world says 7000. I will consider it gospel because they are willing to write it down.
Does your manual have actual ratings? Mine just says check the website.
Sweet. Thank you. That is what I thought, but I have 2 different window stickers with 2 different information sets and nothing...
Thanks. I know the Gladiator is going to be limited by my passengers, my future skid plates and gear choices, and the last few taco bell runs, but 7000 was the number that pushed me to the Rubicon to begin with. I am glad I was not wrong about that. I just wish that Jeep put it in the manual.
Hello,
I just picked up a 2024 gas Rubicon with a class IV hitch, rear camera zoom, aux switches, and 4.10 gears and I am a little confused. I was sure that those package items meant I had a 7000lb tow rating. The dealer agreed with me when I asked him to check. My manual on the other hand...
I saw that. I am planning on towing, so I will need to do that break in next. I am really frustrated with Jeep though. I bought this truck because it should have a tow rating of 7000lbs, but the manual tells me to check the website that just says 4500lbs for the Rubicon. My truck did not say it...
There is always a little bit of luck involved in longevity, but I think irony sometimes loads the dice.
I miss the torque of a LQ9, but design side GM gave up. The new Blazer is such a disappointment. At least the new Bronco can crawl, even if it cannot tow for shit. I would have killed for a...
