Been real happy with mine. Bought it thru a local off-road dealer. Had to order it and wait a few weeks, but everything went well and it appears to be as advertised. No complaints at all. I did try to contact the manufacture and that didn't happen. Went back to the dealer and was able to get...
I won't disagree with most of your post. However to call something shoddy you haven't actually used/owned is disingenuous. Buy from a good dealer that will take care of you. They are pretty nice. But you are right in that there is zero manufacture support.
I left the inside natural, its kind of light in color. I didn't put any lights in it. I figured battery powered L.E.D. lights would work if I decide I need them.
I put the rack rails on top. Same windoors and front window as yours. Did not do anything else. I removed the badges on each side. When I did, the paint came with it. When I got online and read up on them, I learned they made these to order and the paint needs to cure for 90 days or you could...
My advice is buy from a dealer that will support you because you cannot contact the manufacture. My guess is these toppers are not their main gig. I didn't get any paperwork with mine, but I did go online found some information on it. That said, I'm well satisfied with mine, no complaints.
I always threaten to quit as well and get a reduced price, but it hasn't been as low $5 the last couple of years. I've been with them since they started. Still using the old Skyfi radio when I'm in a car without apple play or at home with the boom box.
My window catches a little when I raise it past 90 degrees. I haven't really looked into where and what I can do to stop it. I haven't installed the other side yet to see what happens there.
What???!!!! No torque wrench!!!??? Only hand tight😲😲😲. It absolutely MUST be torqued to the required ft lbs setting by a properly calibrated, lab tested, torque wrench or bad things are sure to happen!!……at least that is what I’ve always heard…….🤷♂️….🙄
Me too. Walmart doesn’t like lawsuits. They are not going to sell junk/fake car parts, or oil, especially under their label, and take that risk. That would be a layup for even the worst ambulance chasing lawyer.
My first Jeep (2023) and if it isn’t a good one, I intend to trade it off for something other than a Jeep product. That said, the majority run a long time without issues so we shall see.
I don't know about the diodes. etrailer said that harness was for my year model Gladiator and it does work. Mine is a 23 with only 4000 miles (bought it used) so I didn't notice any battery issues this trip. I will probably do the batteries as you did when it comes time. I don't like the...
I talked to cooltech. He said all I needed was the switch since I already had the harness. I don't know which two wires to run thru the switch. I just got back off a 1300 mile trip. As far as I know, everything worked okay. I will install the switch if I can figure out which wires to run through...
2023 - Got the Hopkins wiring harness with diodes. (RV powers the tail lights when being towed). Anything else to unhook? Concerned the surge brake activation will cause the vehicle to activate the Jeep's system causing the brake lights to come on. I've searched for several hours and don't...
How much taller were they? I looked at mine and didn't think much taller would work. I had seen your post several weeks ago and I agree, the side windows need to open higher.
