It's probably the top coils of the rear springs contacting each other when hitting bumps. Had the same issue with my 2.5 lift yesterday. I simply removed the grey rubber spring coil isolators from the factory springs and installed them on the Clayton springs. Problem solved and noise is gone.

Are the 35x11.5x17 Grapplers that much taller or is it a illusion? How do you like the Grapplers in that size? I have my choices narrowed down to the 11.5 grapplers or the 35x12.5x17 General X3 C load tires.
