yeah it does! takes a bit of engineering to make it last. my 1st one rattled like a mofo and flew to pieces after about a month. but after disassembling, greasing, and upgrading the bolt/washers it spins even in a stiff breeze and hangs on at interstate speeds.
i saw that! that's a bridge i'll cross when/if i need to though. my current sub is perfectly passable, so it stays as long as it survives without issues
yeah it did, and i haven't seen anything yet either. it's... fine. at least for now, i'm focusing on speakers, i'll deal with the head unit when it craps out
good to know! and that's the main reason i'm asking. going topless negates the stock system. i've got a sub, so i'll probably price both and see what kinda bang i can get for my buck.
nice! i've seen the mb quart one, but also how the company has "gone downhill". i'm mostly concerned with their paper cones vs the poly cones kicker uses. i've never had a kicker that didn't, uh... kick it.
edit: i noticed on the website the option only goes up to '23 - the 24+ soundbar is...
speaker upgrade time! anyone have thought's on better vs bigger in the soundbar?
i've done plenty of forum searching, and looks like most people are putting in bigger speakers in the soundbar.
i'm not opposed to it, but anyone just put better speaker/tweeters of the same size? done both? i...
my 25 does this on occasion too. feels like between 1st & 2nd (although could be 3rd) - it's more pronounced when it downshifts, occasionally hitting hard into the lower gear.
i've thought considered bringing it in, but had the same thought - especially since the closest one to me is...
i just bought these. for the price, they're hard to beat. they aren't fantastic, but for less than $40 they're pretty dang good.

it's been awhile, but after 15 years i'm a jeep owner again. after some spectacular issues, got rid of the outback and got a solid deal on a rubicon x. so far, other than the mpg, the whole fam is loving it. let the build planning begin!
