Everything went on as expected. I went with the top mount, no drill, drank link and track bar relocation bracket and that improved the geometry of everything and eliminated the bump steer I was getting beforehand.
I still havenāt upgraded my gears. Iāve been a little too busy to get around to...
Installed Steer Smarts Yeti XD tie rod assembly, top-mount drag link, track bar, track bar relocation bracket and sector shaft brace.
No more slack/slop in steering, bump steer or wandering/darting while driving. Being able to hit bumps and not jump sideways is nice. Being on 40s with this...
Got complete Steer Smarts Yeti XD steering components installed today. Drives almost like stock with 40s. Iām happy with how it turned out. Next mod will be gears. Kind of on the fence between 5:13s and 5:88s.
I havenāt even considered limiting straps and to be completely honest, I didnāt even know that was a thing. After a quick search, it makes a lot of sense to use them. Iām a little far off from doing anything in that department. Iād like to add some long travel control arms at some point after...
Thatās going to be nice when you get finished. I really donāt know much about any of it and learning as I go. My axles are now trussed that caused me to have to swap the Rough Country stabilizer for the Falcon Nexus adjustable stabilizer due to the RC not fitting after the trusses.
I said I was...
Sorry for the delay. I have not upgraded the axle shafts themselves, however itās in the shop right now getting the Artec axle trusses welded on and replacing the RC steering stabilizer replaced with the Falcon adjustable stabilizer. Iām also still running 4:10 gears, but will be upgrading to...
Iām going to have this problem too. I had the N3 Rough Country steering stabilizer on mine, but itās in the shop now getting the Artec axle trusses installed. With how the trusses mount, the N3 will no longer fit so Iām adding the Falcon Nexus EF 2.2 steering stabilizer with the stock tie rod...
That makes sense. Iām waiting for the quote on having my axles trussed and when I saw your build it made me wonder if I really needed to do the rear since it doesnāt support as much weight as the front. I will eventually put a rack and tent on so there will eventually be more weight so Iāll go...
Iām running 40x13.50 Toyo Open Country M/Ts on my 2022 Mojave and getting ready to truss my axles. Is there a reason you didnāt truss the rear axle?
22 Mojave Gladiator here. Between my sonās snacks, riding small trails and fishing in the Gulf, my floorboards are always covered in sand with hints of what my son has been eating.

Iām not a technical guru or anything, but I have 40x13.50x17s on my 22 Mojave and I donāt have any rubbing or steering issues. With that being said, I bought it used with 34k miles on it and Iām not sure what all the previous owner had done to it before I bought it.
Does anyone happen to know which bumper this is? It has a Warn guide on it for a winch so their website is the first place I checked, but couldnāt find a match. Trying to find out what all winches would fit. I could measure the holes and find a footprint that works, but itād be nice to know what...
