Very true. It gets cold enough where I'm at I'd use the heater. As a matter of fact if I'm correct, I believe I should be able to wire the heater through the FASS WIF delete plug and everything should just plug right in and the Jeep won't know the difference.
I sure appreciate that! However, you don't have to go to all that trouble if you don't want to. I'm just so thankful that you figured out what connector it is. I'm not a "splicer" if I can help it. I'd much rather integrate into a factory harness so that I can return to stock if I have to. Have...
Thank you for tackling this! I've been rolling around some ideas in my head trying to figure this out for a long time... I'd have never gotten around to this probably. With that said what fuel temp sensor did you end up using?
I plan on installing a lift pump pressure gage next time I change the fuel filter. That way I can monitor the lift pump pressure. I'm used to having to monitor fuel pressure to the injection pump anyway. I'm already planning on adding oil pressure to the Idash so it'll only cost me the sensor...
The WIF sensor I could see as a problem. They CLAIM that it doesn't have a drain because it actually traps the water instead of collect it in place for a drain to release it. I have spoken to them while building a fuel system for my 24V cummins and they say that it can in fact be used by itself...
I also don't do any hardcore 4 wheeling like that. I'm building a TJ for that. I personally am VERY interested in an under bumper cooling device that can work with other than stock bumpers!!
